Jurors were paying CLOSE attention to the photos. The pics were not horribly graphic........ no eye sockets, etc. Cranium, duct tape and hair mat were shown.

IMO sociopaths never feel guilt

She justified her actions in her mind, therefore why should she have any real viscereal emotions?

On the day Caylee's remains were found, the cam that was outside the Anthony home showed the comings and goings that day.  The cam also caught Baez going in after the finding of her remains, and coming out of the house with a big paper bag in his hands.  Have ALWAYS wondered what the heck a defense atty would be removing from the home. I sure do hope this gets brought out in trial.

Wow, Wyks! I'd forgotten all about that! You're right though, and I'm curious about it too!!

LUNCH RECESS
Very interesting...I wonder if Bozo did some collecting of his own BEFORE LE got their search warrant. Seems to me the A's didn't return to their home until the day AFTER Caylee's body was discovered. I recall Cindy slipped something about the Winnie the Pooh blanket....hmmm, talk about obstruction and tampering????

Yeppers!  Also on that day, when LE went to the home and Mallory was there... she took like FOREVER to answer the door.  Many of us have wondered what the heck she was doing.  Might have been flushing stuff and etc.  More obstruction and tampering?

Commentators from the courtroom here in about 2 minutes (NeJames is one of them)

They were saying that Baez's cross was all about showing that when the skull was picked up, it had to pulled a bit and the tape was shifted higher than it was just laying on the ground.

length of tape could not be told from photos (known to be 7-9 inches)

Hair had fallen from cranium and skull rested on hair mat.

It has been stated that the wooded area was under water, or at least very damp. This made the search very difficult.

As an obvious search area, from the beginning, it is difficult to believe Caylee's remains were not found sooner.

When a person of concern shifts to becoming a suspect. The focus of the investigation also shifts to the environment of that suspect. In this case, LE would have focused on Casey's surroundings, i.e., her home, neighborhood, etc. Focus would have shifted away from Zanny, boyfriends, etc.

I am having trouble with the length of time it took to find the remains.

Some possibilities include lack of LE following up. In similar cases, investigators often order several searches of the same area.

I must be the only one that does not want to see the pictures. I know what they are and that's enough.

Same with me....I don't need to see them..and really can't imagine anyone wanting to see them....but to each their own I guess

No, I don't want to see them.  They would haunt me.  The Anthonys did go sit with the pitiful remains when they were taken to that  strip mall funeral home.  As I recall, they were there for some time before they were cremated.    I don't know if they looked at them or not.

It seems to me that that racecar driver who was killed, I'm not a fan but maybe his name was Earnhart, something like that?  His family went to court to stop the pics of his autopsy from being released under FL's Sunshine Law and succeeded in keeping them private.  I think that set a precedent.  Not sure though.  Maybe someone in FL knows.

Casey is nervous with all this testimony this am. She is cold again which seems like the observers are all very comfortable and not the air conditioner. It should make her nervous since she knows what she did.

IMHO, she's not fooling anyone

I don't think she is either. Bozo having her not looking at those photographs was killing her as she is proud of her work. Notice now she can't take her eyes off the monitor. I am totally convinced she is a psychopath and is really enjoying this.

Its ridiculous to conclude that she is crying over things she refused to look at.   She's crying because she is snagged & knows what she did - consciousness of guilt, IMHO.
Do you really believe Casey is able to feel guilt?

I personally believe she is enjoying the "showing" of her work. Psychopaths take pleasure in their "work" being viewed and I believe that what we are seeing today. Bozo has told her to appear very distraught but she can't pull that off no matter how hard she tries because she has that enjoyment of having done it. Strange I know, but if you google & read about some of the famous psychopaths you will see the same thing even down so some of the same expressions.

I see this as a hug you have to give someone you don't want to.  Look at his body language.  Not looking at her, only where he "has" to.
He looked happier hugging total strangers out on the street.

Did they search there before Casey dumped the body?

Could cops have missed it?

Did Dominick Casey know where the body was?

can't scientist tell how long approx the
remains were in that spot? I think they can..

Saw the bag where the body was months before and cops didn't listen or look?

OMG  Casey Jordan on HLN says KC is a drama queen today and that she was not sobbing.  She said she was scrunch crying.  She said if she had been sobbing then she would have mascara running down her face.  I can't believe my ears that she might actually have a brain cell in her head today.
and that its blowing up on FB that she was no viceral crying or shaking, no true sobbing indicated.  Also mentioned the same that I observed she's crying over things she refused to look at.
ha! so much for her claim that she is "such a good liar!"  A good liar (or actor) can cry or sob on command.

I'm sure this has been said before, but I was looking at the Disney bag found near the body, and thought about Casey's lies about Caylee being at Disney with the Nanny....  that's a twisted way to put it.

TU, I wondered how long the duct tape was and wished they stuck a ruler next to it in photos.  I only knew it held the mandible in place during decomp process which meant to me possibly long.

That isn't gonna fly w/Dr. G.  Didn't she put in her report that the mandible would have disarticulated if the duct tape would NOT have been there.  In other words, the tape held the lower jaw in place that is normally only held together with tissue.

Question:  Was Tony present when Casey borrowed the shovel?

If we were to believe Casey was going to bury Caylee, wouldn't this be implicating Tony?
