I thought that was before they found them. I am mixed up evidently as I thought LE took over the house after they found the remains and the Anthonys were not allowed there so they went to a hotel. IIRC they did not go back to the house until the next day as they were on the plane from one of their "cameos" in Calif. When was bozo there and who let him in?

The Anthonys weren't there yet, Mallory was at the home supposedly taking care of the pets.  It was after Caylee's remains were found, same day, the cam was constantly on the house.  I can't remember the order, but LE went in and Baez went in.  Perhaps about the same time?  I just remember we talked about how the Anthonys may have quick called Mallory to 'tidy up' some before LE went in with a warrant.  From what I recall, LE went to the house immediately on finding Caylee's remains.  They may not have been able to get in right away but needed to wait on a warrant.. but they were out there in front of the house.  Then they were able to go in, and had to wait for Mallory to answer the door.  They waited and waited and waited, and she finally answered the door.  It was some point around that same time that Baez went in and came out with a large paper bag.  If I recall correctly, he came out with the bag before LE brought out evidence.  Cuz we were all like wth??  What's he doing?  And why is LE letting him?  Or did they even notice?

Does anybody think Bozo will be the one to cross examine Dr G?   Monkey Devil!      <---  he will be digging himself into a hole if he does.

They were saying that Baez's cross was all about showing that when the skull was picked up, it had to pulled a bit and the tape was shifted higher than it was just laying on the ground

Honestly how much FORCE does one need to use to lift a tiny skull? I highly doubt they were that careless.

length of tape could not be told from photos (known to be 7-9 inches)

Hair had fallen from cranium and skull rested on hair mat.

TU, I wondered how long the duct tape was and wished they stuck a ruler next to it in photos.  I only knew it held the mandible in place during decomp process which meant to me possibly long.

They just went through that on the commentary from the online site. They said one piece was 10 inches. The other two were 8.5 and 7.5 ( could be off a decimal or two about the last one..... I didn't write it down....sorry!)

Question:  Was Tony present when Casey borrowed the shovel?

If we were to believe Casey was going to bury Caylee, wouldn't this be implicating Tony?
I thought the neighbor said the time he say a guy with Casey.. not known who the guy was, was when a car back into the garage? Not sure.. I think she wad alone when borrowed shovel.

I have always been under the impression that she was alone.  Brian Burner, the neighbor from whom she borrowed the shovel, did not say that Tony was there.

I think the duct tape held a lot of the hair in place as well. If the hair had NOT been attached to the duct tape, it's likely animals would have dragged it off to use as nesting material. This lkeads me to believe the tape was placed on Caylee while she was alive. poor baby must have fought hard against the intents of her Momster...

I really wish that steak knife had come into evidence.  That was probably how she cut the tape.

I wonder that too. Maybe there was vegetation entwined in it? My impression is that as the skull was "pulled" up perhaps the thumbs of the officer slightly shifted the tape?

Bleah. I started something by wording something incorrectly.  She never admitted she did it, only admitted there was an accident.  I should have used the word accident in my first post or not come out of lurking... sorry.  photos made me sad... back in my corner.  Please drop it, I said it incorrectly.
No need to feel like you can't talk in here, Riley!  I say stuff incorrectly all the time, no big deal.  I think we are all confused and trying to understand what's going on.

I was under the impression the neighbor said there was a white truck at the house and he saw a guy there.

And Casey went alone to his house to ask for the shovel.

Allegedly Tony used the shovel to break the lock off the shed to get the gas cans.

Casey supposedly left the shovel back at the neighbor's house, he never saw her return the shovel.

Jinkasaurus (who was in courtroom): There was a lot of hair still on the skull. She thinks it was held by duct tape.

Scene was very wet, as were the remains.
