Just popping in to say Hi to all my Monkey friends.

Was not able to watch the trial today or be online until now.....so mega catching up here for me.

I think the trial will be over in 2 to 3 more weeks.

The first couple of weeks of this trial were short..Started on a Tuesday, instead of a Monday..then the next week started on a Tuesday again due to Memorial Day...so this is actually the first full week where they could go Mon-Sat.  So next week the prosecution finishes up..then the defense will begin possibly the 17 or 18 of June.   The defense does not have as many witnesses to call..and we know they really haven't prepared a defense from their opening statement..no surprise Nanny.

I agree. The trial will take less than 8 weeks to finish.

I don't think the defense will even put on a case and if they do it will be VERY short. Their opening argument essentially admitted culpability -- only with "mitigating" circumstanses. They really don't have anything to "defend" -- and would need to PROVE George molested casey. That can't be done. This case has been over since opening arguments. The only smart thing to do is to put casey on the stand and plead for her life.

ever notice that Casey can barely stand long enough for the jury to be seated? she is the first one sitting down always that I have seen..She probably thinks that they should rise when she walks in instead...   no respect at all

I didn't realize that judges stand for the jury.  I think that is really nice.  Do all of them do it or just JP?

JP is very respectful of this jury...He shows respect and is trying really hard to make sure that they are comfortable...
I heard someone say that the state will be resting next Friday! if that is true, this trial will be over before predicted..which will be great..lesser chance of losing a juror jmo...

Regarding Dr. G:

LKB is basically saying that if means of death is determined by the police evidence rather than medical evidence, the you don't need a medical degree.

By doing that, she becomes one sided, not "even".

Jose did not address in opening statements how little Caylee's body ended up in the woods near Casey's home.  I suppose George and Mr. Kronk were in on that together?
