Hello Monkeys  -- I'm quite disappointed too that the State is wrapping up its case.  I think there is a huge hole in it.  Although the State doesn't have to prove motive, many of us, including Shirley Pleasea and she should know, think the motive was to get even with Cindy for loving Caylee and sort of replacing Casey in her affections with that beautiful little girl.  George knew, Lee knew, apparently the entire neighborhood knew, Jessie knew, Amy knew, Tony knew, Ricardo knew,they all knew about  about the fights between Cindy and Casey.  The Jury doesn't know. What the jury got was a fairy tale of a  loving relationship between the two of them  and how they snuggled on the couch to watch a video of sweet Caylee at the nursing home, on the last day of her life, I might add.

A lot of people bought Cindy's act when she lied under oath, and not for the first time, either.  This time it was in court as a sworn witness.   I didn't buy it and I remember very clearly all of the Cindy's lies and actions and  some of those actions were illegal, IMO, and certainly lying to LE is illegal.  I believe the real Cindy was apparent in the Morgan depositions.  That's Cindy in all her glory, and that's Cindy's normal way of behaving, IMO.

so the jury will be left with the impression of a sweet, loving relationship between mother and daughter, and the defense will sacrifice George to get that murdering slut off.  That was the whole idea from the beginning, wasn't it?

I believe that George may be the willing sacrificial lamb for the defence ... the willing sacrificial lamb who provides the reasonal doubt to save Casey from the death penalty/LWOP.

George will continue to deny the accusations of his lying daughter but ... the court of public opinion will give George the benefit of the doubt.  After all ... it has been revealed throughout the trial that every word that spews out of the mouth of Casey is a lie.

It is a win-win-win strategy that the defence is attempting.  IF the jury buys it ...

1.  Casey wins because she is not held fully accountable for the murder of the precious treasure that she was bless with.

2.  George and Cindy wins because that outcome of the trial was exactly what Caylee's grandparents were hoping for.

3.  Jose Baez and the Anthonys all win with a $2 Million dollar move deal with Lifetime.

Janet, I think you're right.  After all, George did say that he would do anything--anything--for Casey.  And it's a perfect plan. 
Everybody gets what they want--Except of course, Lady Justice and the taxpayers of the state of Florida.

I think George has already done enough for Casey.  Sit down, Grandpa. Viagra has been known to cause a head rush.

Even the TV momo's are wondering why there has been no talk of the fight between Cindy and KC on fathers day night.....  ::MonkeyEek: omg shoot me .LP is making sense.
If they admit to the fight and KC stormed out that night, then George is lying about the next am.. They also say that the pings were never discussed   

LOL..LP is making sense right now!  ITA the duct tape was to make it look like a kidnapping. But that is a huge missing piece..the fight along with the pings...did this happen that night or did she come home after GA and CA were asleep?  3 years of reading this gobbledygook  and trying to figure this mystery out and I feel like Im back at square 1 !!!!!

I would bet a chicken dinner that LKB is behind this.  She was disappointed in the way the cross went before so she wants to try her hand at guiding Baez, once again with cell phone in hand, through their own brand of questioning.  Rots of ruck Linda.

I say bring it..after listening to her the last few weeks on HLN she's got nothing but more stupidity to add to the mix.

One more thing I thought of.....I think there is far more that the state may bring in on rebuttal, but waiting to see what the DT throws at the wall, rather than going on for days or weeks with testimony that some jurors don't understand or can't stay awake for. Also, IMO the defense team now have a burden (in the jury's mind) since they came out in the OS and made such absurd claims...again reminds me of the case of Scott Peterson and IIRC Mark Geragos promised some bombshell and didn't deliver, and while the jury instrx will tell the jurors that the defense doesn't have the burden, once the DT took on that burden I do believe the jurors are expecting them to prove it.

Good description of what most likely happened..I know its been discussed here but why didnt the state bring this fight up with Cindy or Lee?  I dont get it.

They just mentioned on JVM that perhaps the fight was investigated and it never happened and that could be the reason it wasn't brought up.
Robyn Adams is waiting to testify. Possibly the state's last witness. Who the state is waiting for is anyone's guess at this point.

As far as I'm concerned, the only place Casey's walking is to the big house.The state has at least 3 more witnesses, and will wipe the floor with the witnesses presented by the defense.
The state doesn't have to prove a motive, but the motive is clear...Bella vita, and hatred of Cindy.
I think all of this is still going to come out.
There's decomp., there's a hair with a death band, and there's the 31 days, duct tape, computer searches, chloroform.
I think there will be a guilty verdict.

ITA Curly..no reasonable person will be able to judge her not guilty.

The State has done an excellent job laying their case out there with lots of background in every given area.

There really is nothing the defense can throw out there to change the facts.


I think the State's last witnesses and their sumation will get to motive..and boy was there some.

I agree with Mark Egliersh (sp), that LP has fifteenseconditis or whatever he called it, and then tossed on the cowboy hat, I was ROFLMAO and then his argument was "well I have a Law School named after me blah blah blah"....he has been blasting his ideas since he released to the media that The World Famous Bounty Hunter was going to bail her out, then proceeded to tell everyone that she let someone babysit her for a few days and the sitter took the baby and ran, but once she was out of jail, had a shower and her nails done she was going to tell him who had Caylee......the fact he was THAT naive doesn't bode well for any of his theories IMO, I can't recall one person on SM that thought Caylee was alive nor one person who didn't think Casey killed her from the first day we heard this.

Just wanted to say hello to everyone and I'm sure none of you remember me but I was here until Oct 2008 at which time I had a horrible situation which led to my own trial, which as you can see, I was found not guilty  because I'm here, anyways, couldn't recall what name I went by so I combined the only 2 I've used anywhere in the past. It's good to be back and I look forward to posting with all of you and continuing to read and learn so much from all of you. Thank you klaasend for approving me!

IM...you are so right, I remember the first time I heard about this case, I knew that she had killed her baby. As for LP....we all laughed about him thinking she was going to help him find Caylee....boy, did she take him for a ride....I liked it when Mark Egliersh told him he should have left her in jail....lol

Casey Anthony’s closest childhood friend Kiomarie Torres Cruz says she was stunned when she learned that tiny Caylee had been buried with a heart-shaped sticker.

“I immediately realized it meant that Casey had buried Caylee,” Kiomarie told The ENQUIRER in an exclusive interview. “My blood ran cold.”

Casey’s burial was stunningly similar to those of pets she buried in the same spot when she was a child, said Kiomarie.

Kiomarie says she, Casey and their friend Jessica held a funeral for Jessica’s hamster, Sage, when the girls were 13.

“I never wanted to believe Casey could have killed Caylee, but it’s just too much coincidence. The place, the hearts, the bags, the blanket – it all adds up,” says Kiomarie.

“Now I’m convinced that she murdered Caylee and buried her in the same place, in exactly the same way, that we buried our pets.”

A.  .... And through Jessica Kelly I met Casey and we pretty much became all really good friends. We became the unstoppable trio. Um, then Jessica showed us this hiding spot behind Hidden Oaks Elementary School. And back in the day there was no fences put up here, there was just ah, like a dirt hill and you can go back there with your bicycles and there’s two different spots back there where we used to hangout at. And we pretty much hung out there most of out time. We used to bring blankets and picnic baskets and just steal food from our houses and bring it out there and just snack on food for hours until the lights came on when we had to go home. Um, pretty much just get away

from our parents, which used to drive us up the wall especially in middle school. And then we stopped going there once freshman year hit.

Q Was this, would you say that this was a favorite place for you guys to come just kind of hang out?

A It was, it really was everyday pretty much. Um, there were some days where she had track meets with Jessica and I’d come out here by myself. And her basketball games with Jessica and it would usually be just me and Casey that would come back out here and we just talk for hours and hours.

I have been asking people who have only been exposed to this case through me and every last one of them has asked me why would I think she would walk when it is so obvious that she killed her little girl?

Something that I thought was cool....my co-workers's son attends the local community college and is studying criminal justice....he has not watched any of this trial.My co-worker was watching it the other day when Dr.G was testifying and her son walked through, stopped and said "that's Dr.G!"....she asked him how he knew her and he told her that he did a seminar at his school....thought that was kinda cool...
