I tried 'eggies' last night to boil eggs...you break the eggs into the eggies which are egg shaped and boil them in water like normal...no egg shells to peel off the eggs! worked really well...have not tasted them yet..making egg salad later today...
I hate trying to peel hard boiled eggs so this is a great invention..

I have never heard of those!  I know what you mean about peeling the eggs - where did you get them?  Might get some for my mom as a gift?

they are shown on tv...also in the Harriet Carter catalogs..they are sold in stores in the "as seen on tv" section too...maybe Walgreens?
I got mine at a kitchen store in Wisconsin Dells area last weekend...
the girl at the store told me that they can't keep them in stock! matter of fact while I was checking out with the last 2 packages in that store, customers were coming up to the desk asking if they had them lol...

What a coincidence, I just saw the TV ad for them not 5 minutes ago

I think I might want that!  I don't have a problem peeling eggs, as submerging them in ice cold water immediately after boiling makes 'em peel just fine.  But...I'd want try it for something else:  And this is gonna sound really weird, but do you think it might be possible to separate the egg from the yolk and make yolk-less hard-boiled eggs?  I can't stand that ball of yolk so I have to remove it and then rinse and dry the hard-boiled egg white before I'll eat it.  Could this gizmo be the solution?

According to the ad you can do just egg whites or even use the one that come in a carton!

yes you can..as a matter of fact it comes with it's own egg white separator..

Thank you for all who are orayiing for my SIL.  She had her brain tumor operated on today and things went well.

Cookie - I have twitter and I'm just getting used to it.  You can actually Tweet from your phone as well.  I use it to follow different people that might be reporting something I'm interested on.  Like say in Florida or wherever a missing persons case might me.  So I "follow" people like that then when I look at my Twitter I'll see tweets by those people as well and will see any "breaking news" in these cases. 

IMO Twitter is the absolute fastest way to get Breaking News.

The Petlodge people did Josef's first foot treatment. They know I am going crazy over his problems, so decided to send me funny pictures to make me laugh....
