I just signed up for twitter and I have no idea how to do it or what I am doing...is the idea to get tweets from those that I selected and it goes to my email address? thanks...

Cookie - I have twitter and I'm just getting used to it.  You can actually Tweet from your phone as well.  I use it to follow different people that might be reporting something I'm interested on.  Like say in Florida or wherever a missing persons case might me.  So I "follow" people like that then when I look at my Twitter I'll see tweets by those people as well and will see any "breaking news" in these cases. 

IMO Twitter is the absolute fastest way to get Breaking News.

thanks K! is there an extra charge to get the tweets to phone? I just have a plain phone with no internet so that may not work for me..I will keep trying to get used to it..I am signed in with some breaking news twitters..

Yeah extra charge for a phone with internet so that wouldn't work for you until you get a "smart" phone.  Mostly I use it from my computer and for breaking news stuff just like you will.  There are a lot of tricks to Tweeting I don't know yet myself

He had to stand in the "stinky water" for 15 minutes, he wasn't happy.

I don't blame him for being unhappy having to stand in the stingy water for that long.

Question of the day what cellular service did Osama Bin Laden have??? He lived in caves and got reception, he lived in mountians and could post videos of him and his evil cronies. WTH can't I talk to husband on the iPhone with AT&T???? Blackberry never did this crap.

He was unhappy plus it smelled like magic marker. He got the bath afterwards.

Oh man, I would love to meet you as well TBM. If it werent for the cruise I would be in Chicago that weekend. The Rangers play the White Sox and I would love to go to that game.

I could have sworn that I saw a thread here about scams, but maybe not.  Anyway, I'll post this here and in the Break Room so that you all can be aware of this:

*SCAM ALERT*

Don't know if any of you collect coins, but there are tons of counterfeit silver dollars (including the Morgan Dollar) being sold as the real thing.  A friend of mine, who just bought six silver dollars, asked me to take them to a coin shop to see what they are worth.  The dates on these silver dollars were:  1796, 1893, 1842, 1804, 1906 & 1924.  My preliminary research showed that the 1796 coin goes for $1,000-$5,000...so you can imagine how excited my friend was, especially since he only paid $80 for all six of them.

He said that he bought the dollars from an old man in a parking lot.  The man said that he needed to sell them so that he could get his car out of an impound lot and that he knew they were worth much more, but he really needed some fast cash.  My friend agreed to purchase them because he thought he was doing the man a favor.  And that he could sell them for a lot more money.  Wrong.

I took them to a coin dealer and the guy looked at them for about 10 seconds and said, "All fakes."  He then explained to me that they are from China and that they've been making these counterfeit coins for about 5 years now.  It's legal as long as they sell them as "replicas" and they don't make any with dates past 1949.  He said that real silver dollars are 26 grams, not 19 and that you can pick them up with a magnet because they have an iron core.  They also have a weird reflection.  He says that people come in every single day with these fakes.

These dollars are being sold in Chinatown for $1 and then re-sold to unwitting buyers.  I did an ebay search and found a bunch that look very suspect as the seller offers no details and states, "You get what you see."  Anyway, I felt horrible about having to call my friend with the bad news.  And it makes me sick that this old man is probably scamming more innocent people everyday with his fake $1 Chinatown dollars and his hard-luck story.  In the end, if something sounds to good to be true, then it probably is.

They have a lot of boots but finding ones with a 3" heel is great. I need the heel to use on the differential pedal on the tractor...without the heel if it is wet your foot slides off the pedal....look at the the zebra my sister got.

 I do start very early with kittens clipping their nails though.  Found if you start early they learn mom is bigger and stronger and they just kick back and let it happen.  My 20 year old Squeeky just sits and puts his paws out for me......

  I bet you learned your lesson. My groomer would bathe her cat (sedated) and after the bath would play cat puppet with it  before the sedation wore off. I would laugh my butt off at her.

That is good they learn early on about the nail clipping. If CC moves here we may need you to do Ruby's nails. OMG, she freaks.  Poor thing.

I do bathe my kitties - normally only when it is shedding seasons - I hate that they swallow all the fur and puke it up - neither gives me any trouble - the oldest just looks at me like Really?

I can't get the Can Can music out of my head!!! There is a little girl that is so adorable that when her coach is out of town will skate her program without the music. I asked her today if she had her music and I would play it so she could skate her routine. I think she is skating a competition in a few weeks. She is so adorable, I want to copy her whole performance.
