Orange Circuit Judge Stan Strickland just signed amended court documents this morning that he says will have the effect of requiring Casey Anthony to serve one year of supervised probation as he originally intended back when he sentenced her in her check fraud case.

"From my reading of this, she should be reporting to probation in Orlando probably within 72 hours," Strickland said. "I suspect she's going to be required to report to probation."

had a great day..except...
my mom just called and she has to put her dog Smoky down on Wednesday...so sad for her. she wanted a few more days with him. I think that I would have done it right away but it is her pet..she is devastated. I don't think my mom has loved anything or anyone like she loves that dog...sigh...she lives in Washington so it isn't like I can go be with her either...

Hey guys, look what I found! This is my town doing a libdub for the Film Festival. (I hardly ever go into town, it's "fudgie" oriented, but still, it is pretty!) Dang, I hate how youtube changed their configs.

You know there is a box you can check on youtube that says use the old embed code and you can do it the old way. 

We call the tourists "fudgies" cos you can always spot them with their cameras, guys in black socks and sandals, and bags of the local fudge. I actually wanted a truck with a "fudgie" plow on it...hubby said no, it's true there is a fudgie season, but it's still illegal to hunt them!

Yes, unfortunately.  I thought Mother Nature was having hot flashes!

I forgot to add, Cubby is doing fine.  He is not too happy with the weatherman.     There are either heat warnings telling you not to go out or there are severe storm warnings.  It is either one or the other.

Poor Cubby, can't go outside. I hope he can go outside soon Bearly. Still praying for y'all, especially SIL.

Hi all

Has anyone heard from Nana...miss her and hope everything is OK

The weather here is hot and humid. No one wants to go outside and they are telling people to stay in and keep your pets safe. No problem there because the dogs don't want to leave the A/C.
Being old and sometimes forgetting things  On the first of every month the dogs get their heartworm and topical flea and tick treatments and I change the filters in the the 3 returns. So am set for another month.
Beela is still gradually improving and gets around just fine. She will always have an odd gait but it just adds to her personality.
Still keeping fingers crossed for Josef.

It is so hot here too, but my goofy dog thinks he should walk and walk in 110 degree heat.  I keep all the lights off inside  at night until bedtime just to keep it cool in here and turn the A/C down past 60. Maybe I need a new air filter.

Haven't heard from Nana in a while. I hope she is doing okay as well. 

I keep rejoicing about Beela's improvement.   

JSM, you remember the trouble from the last time the filter was not changed.  I don't know what kind you have, but mine has to be changed once/month.

I hope Nana is doing well, also, along with No Rosie.  I miss Tol posting on here as well.

Hi 4 donks!  Yes, we were just discussing the heat for this coming week last evening.  There is supposedly another heat wave coming through - if you recall I am in Bham.  I asked hubs how can it be hotter than it already is?  I am about to find out, huh?  My pups won't go out at all - just do their business and right back in.

Iam so glad you reminded me about the meds for the first of the month!  I give them their heart worm pill on the 1st - and I can't believe today is the first. They each get half of a hotdog with the pill stuffed inside one of the weinie pieces.  That works good for them (and me).  Stay cool in your new boots!

Caddy, stay safe in the heat. It is brutal. 

JSM, thank you for reminding me.  I think the heat fried my brain. 

Please don't take any chances, anyone who is involved in the heat waves.  Please stay indoors until they tell you it is safe to go out again.

JSM, don't let Josef push you around, if you do not take care of yourself, who is going to take care of Josef when your back goes out or you get hurt?

thanks Pals..she is so heartbroken..she lives alone and Smoky was mostly her whole life except for her 2 sisters there and friends...but he was with her all the time..
I just feel so bad for her...I know that feeling well and it is very tough...

  Yes I remember about the filter LOL just changed it about two months ago. I think it is time to change it again.

Bearly, he is now being dragged up stairs when I know it is too hot. The petlodge manager told me to make him go upstairs and do not carry him. So you are right, I am going to take care of myself and not let my back go out. At least I can carry him over stones and stuff, but never again up the stairs in this heat.

  Thank you for reminding me that I need to take care of myself to take care of Josef.

  I can't talk to CC because Paul McCartney is having a concert at Wrigley tonight.   

I hate to say this, wish baseball was over but I can't because I want my Rangers back in the World Series and win it this time.

Update on Josef's feet, the manager that did his dip says they are improving tremendously. I even noticed last night when I was putting on the ointment. No open blisters and such. Waiting on the check to take care of his booty tumor. Hopefully that will be scheduled for next Monday. I really want to talk to the other surgeon his vet is going to talk to before we have this done. Not that I don't totally trust Josef's vet, but this other guy is a super specialist, but I really need to know if Josef won't have any problems after surgery.

Anyways, prayers for all of you and your families, my brain is fried from heat and work. Josef is trying to look out the sliding glass door so that means one last SHORT walk.

I am over the extream heat! Had a garage sale over the weekend and was sweating sitting in the chair - that is WAY too hot. Even the pool is warm - up to 90 degrees in the water - almost too hot. Thank God for air conditioning! Have a great day.

Yea and my daffy hubs thinks we should keep the solar cover on anyway because it is neat to see how warm it can get - me, I let the baby play with the hose in the pool!
