My brain is fried, it is so hot outside. I would give anything for snow and sleet. At least Josef doesn't want to walk in it like he does the heat. I am sick of having to drag his butt up the stairs. He wants to roam but I don't need him to get heat stroke.

I blame all his problems on KC, she probably has the mange as well.

I can't get CC on the phone, goes straight to voice mail. I hope he is okay, I know there were storms last night in Chicago, but his phone was acting up before the storms hit.

CONE OF SHAME has been taken off today!!! Two more treatments in the stinky water though. He had the stitches removed and the vet says the paws are completely healed, but he still wants to make sure the mange is all gone. 

  Thank you for all your prayers, means so much to me. Now to get the butt tumor removed with no troubles and hopefully my worries are over for now.

Has anyone heard from Nana...miss her and hope everything is OK

The weather here is hot and humid. No one wants to go outside and they are telling people to stay in and keep your pets safe. No problem there because the dogs don't want to leave the A/C.
Being old and sometimes forgetting things  On the first of every month the dogs get their heartworm and topical flea and tick treatments and I change the filters in the the 3 returns. So am set for another month.
Beela is still gradually improving and gets around just fine. She will always have an odd gait but it just adds to her personality.
Still keeping fingers crossed for Josef.

I am over the extream heat! Had a garage sale over the weekend and was sweating sitting in the chair - that is WAY too hot. Even the pool is warm - up to 90 degrees in the water - almost too hot. Thank God for air conditioning! Have a great day.

Yea and my daffy hubs thinks we should keep the solar cover on anyway because it is neat to see how warm it can get - me, I let the baby play with the hose in the pool!

  A solar cover to see how warm it can get?? Might as well just go fill the bathtub up with hot water. 

I agree with you but living in Michigan we need a solar cover. Normally we get to the mid 80s water temp but I am not a fan of much higher. But hubs is sure he knows more than I do!   

Makes sense you need a solar cover in Michigan. Mid 80s is a good temp, I don't like it much higher, might as well fill up the tub.

I am sure he is fine - just no phone reception or it is not working. Could be the storms kept him up and he is still sleeping.

Morning Cookie. Greeneyes emailed me there were storms last night. Checked WGN and there are power outages, not sure if that is the problem with the phone though. Glad you didn't get any storms.

     CC's mom just called to tell me his phone is broken and he is going out to buy a new one!!!!!

  Tell CC I saw a very big black snake,no photo.It was between me and the house and I ran around  trying to get to the other door.  Looked down and there was a yellow jacket on my shirt.I am in for the rest of the day.

Thanks 4Donks ya it's between use and the road that circles us.  The smoke is changing color so am hoping they are getting it under control. But it's so dry here it worries me.  Hubs just told me to stop worrying. I hope it goes towards town and not away from town towards us.  Have to go out to the street to see anything. Our neighbor just called and said they had it under control. Which is good news.
