I'm sending out prayers this morning for Josef and his family. I hope his surgery is successful and he has a good recovery.

Got to sleep in a little and cuddle with the boy. Got to the vet a little before 7, they came and got him out of the car. They are so great to me, were going to have me sign the papers before he went inside. They literally had to drag him on his butt into the the hall towards the hospital until I walked around the corner.

The tech brought out the papers telling me to sign about the anesthesia and pain meds, IV for sedation. I lost it, the vet came around the corner. Because Josef was supposed to not eat anything I freaked out because he at grass. The vet came and I told him that Josef ate grass this morning, he looked at me funny and said "Stacey, Josef eats grass all the time" I thought he was supposed to have an empty stomach. He just laughed at me and said no FOOD, grass is fine. Told me not to worry, Josef is the only patient scheduled for surgery so he has as much time with him and he told me he has 99.9% chance of everything being fine.

Thank you for all the prayers I really cherish all the monkeys praying for me and my Josef.

  Caddy, give Chubbie and the Criminal a big hug from me!!!! Thanks for the prayers, I'm not sure if he is even in surgery yet. I will keep you posted when I find out how it went.

Have a great night monkeys. Going to put Josef on the bed and cuddle with him. He stepped down on the steps and screamed. A twig was stuck in the pad of his bad paw that is just now healing. 

Going to my dad's "medicare" birthday party tomorrow, he turned 65 on the 4th. So I have to take Josef to day care tomorrow and go to Mass, then go to Dallas for the party and pick Josef up. I probably should leave Josef tomorrow because no food after midnight, but he can have water so that will be no problem. He doesn't eat in the morning anyways.

  I will tell him you both said hello. He retired this year, but would gladly go back to teaching for Cubby or work with him after school hours. He misses his kids, I have a feeling he will be going back when he gets stir crazy.

We visited my parents yesterday.  My Mom had invited us over for brunch.  My Dad had such a great day.  We were so happy to see them.  My son has been talking about it since.
