Here's a dessert my sister always makes me for my birthday.  Start with a gooey chocolate brownie add a scoop of ice cream  drizzle with Godiva Chocolate Liqueur top with whipped cream and shaved chocolate.
  Try it and you really don't care if you've gained another year.

Okay, so they contain cyanide, Pet Lodge manager told me if it was going to poison him he would be dead  She also told me to worry about skating and she will worry about Josef. I said it was a deal. 

That Josef is something else.  Glad he is o.k.
Sidekick decided that we would watch the Lost series while he is here...Lostpalooza.  No way we can watch all those shows before he goes home,but I guess we'll get started.
We are grilling steaks and hotdogs,and then hot fudge cake.He said since it is my birthday he would do the treadmill for me today.     
Off to cook some bacon,and watch Lost.

I don't come here often anymore and didn't know Josef was ill.  I hope everything will be OK.  In fact, I know everything will be OK.  He's a lucky dog to have you for a mommy.

Hi Babybear, you have been missed. Yes, Josef is ill. Had a tumor removed from his hiney hole. Thank you for saying everything will be okay. I really appreciate that. I am lucky to have him for my furbaby.

Morning Monkeys... woke up at 4 30 and it was RAINING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Which wasnt much fun walking Josef. I came home after skating to do all the comforters and blankets he has been sleeping on. Was going to go to the laundry mat but I think people would look at me funny donning a mask, gloves and a hazmat suit trying to stuff the washers.  And since the temps are lower we can run appliances during the day. Then I will go pick him up and hopefully talk to the vet about his diarrhea problem. Meant to go to PetsMart and get those puppy pads after skating, but totally missed the exit. Will see if they have some I can buy at the vet until I get to PetsMart tomorrow.

  Sister thank you for the prayers, yes I did speak with the vet. They took him off one of the anitibiotics and we are hoping a diet change will help. Hope all is well with you and Connie are in my prayers.

  went to Big Lots to get bleach, turned down the wrong aisle and saw a dog bed, looked up and I'll be dang if they didn't have a bag of 50 puppy pads for $10.00.

  Now here is the kicker, he won't lay on them so when he lays down I lift his tail up and slide it underneath his bum.  Once it is time for bed I am going to put some "Booty Creme" on his behind because it is getting raw. Seriously it is diaper rash medicine name Booty Creme.

I bought it at the pharmacy at the hospital. It was almost 7 dollars. Of course he doesn't want to lay on them, he wants to move around. Just gave him his pain meds and he didn't swallow them, he chewed them up so now he is mad. Eight more days, no cone, no stiches and hopefully no more diarrhea. We will still be on the bathroom floor, tried the bed last night  first time he moved around, back to the floor he went. I will give Mr Potty a hug, time for him to go outside again.

There is a lady I used to watch her dog, that went over the Rainbow Bridge and she saw Josef with his cone on today.

She asked me what I was going to do with him when he dies....  I was like WTF???? She gave me a card for a pet cemetery and the stone carver that did her dog's grave stone.  I know she was meaning well, but he has a bit of the poops and a benign tumor that was taken off and even pooped out a apricot pit. He is not on death's door from what I was told today by his vet, unless she is the grim reaper I don't want to hear that crap.

I guess she just was looking out for me because she loved her dog as much as I love Josef.  So I am not taking offense anymore but I was about to cry when she said that. Except I am all cried out and looking at the positive like Sister told me to do. 

Reminds me of when my Grandmother was in the hospital one time, she came out to see us kids in the waiting room, she saw the guy that owned one of the funeral homes in town, (she was hard of hearing) and yelled "WHAT ARE YOU DOING UP HER, DRUMMING UP BUSINESS"?
