JSM - I cried happy tears last night listening to the 27 songs that were played at our wedding on the 27th. I really know I have nothing to be afraid of what our future shows. So here is a poem for you with a line from each of those 27 songs. And if any Monkey can identify the names of those 27 songs they will win a home version of Scared Monkeys.

We all had another Birthday cake yesterday....can you say sugar overload? 
I kept waiting for Muffy to swoop in at any minute..we know she loves cake.

JSM,I hope Josef is feeling better.    Tell CC I was watching an old episode of How I met Your mother last night and they were pursuing "cougars." I laughed through the whole episode.

4Donks - how fortunate to have such good people who adopted your foundling.  They wouldn't be giving you updates, otherwise, imo.

I haven't been posting much.  It's been a busy summer for us running back and forth looking after our son's cottage,  between renters.  I have become the best chambermaid LOL- and sure wish my house looked as cared for as sons' cottage.

We celebrated our 45th anniversary this week @ the cottage, after a check out.  I phoned the man the next day and told him what a gift it was to find the cottage in such immaculate condition.   

Prayers to all the monkeys who need them, and all the Monkeys I've missed.

Special prayers to Sister that her strength of spirit may continue and that she receives complete healing.   

Happy Anniversary, you have had a very busy summer. What a great thing that the renter had the cottage in immaculate condition.

Been praying for Josef and his little pooper -- yep, that's what I prayed to God to fix his little pooper (God has such a wonderful sense of humor!).
JSM, sorry the woman about the pet cemetary spoke out of turn.  She obviously is still grieving for her pet, so yes, think the bestest of thoughts for her and her loneliness.
Quite frankly, I think one reason CC married you was because of your beautiful feet (saw the wedding pics).  Lots of sandals for you on the cruise girl -- flash them feet!

  You are right Sister, she is still grieving so that is why I let her talk and give me the cards.

You are so sweet about saying I have beautiful feet. I have always thought my feet were ugly, that makes me feel really special. I will flash them feet as soon as I get to the Nail Bar for a pedicure.

Dear Lord, we thank you for the rain that falls nourishing the earth and all who dwell upon it.  We thank you too for the living water given to us from our Savior.  We thank you for our bodies which have been wonderfully and miraculously made.  We thank you for the honor of coming into your presence and laying at your feet our dear friend Bearly who is suffering with such pain, which is aggravated by the dampness in the air.  Give Bearly an extra portion of your balm to release her discomfort and allow her to walk and sit and lie down with ease.  Warm her bones and sinew so moving is without dread.  We thank you for the ties which bind us to you and this place of love and friendship.  Amen and Amen.
