My sweet brother who wouldn't harm a fly has had a stroke 10 days ago.  He's had so many health issues in the past five years.  Yesterday he was transported from local community hospital to a larger hospital some distance away to begin rehab.  It was on his left side.  My SIL said they will not know the full impact of the stroke for three weeks.  Thankfully he can talk, and walk with a cane.  No use of left arm. 
They live 3 1/2 hour drive away.  My hope is that he will be able to get his driver's license back. 
You know what they say, a man without a car and all that.  SIL doesn't drive.
My son, who arrived for a visit two weeks ago, keeps telling me 'mom, you have your hopes up and I don't want you to be let down, but Uncle G. will probably never drive again'.

One never knows what each day will bring.  Carpe diem. 

Can I am so sorry not posting, been way behind because of Caylee. My prayers go out to you and your brother. Praying that Uncle G will drive again. Thank goodness he can talk and walk with a cane, that is a good sign.

Please know I saw this post and prayed for Uncle G and your family, just haven't posted yet.

After the verdict today I'm taking a permanent leave of any more trials...I really feel that once again Caylee has been forgotten.

4 donks I felt the same way but now more than ever we need to stick together for justice for all children that have been missing and killed by either their parents, strangers or family. Caylee had no justice, Natalee had no justice, but if there is one murdered child out there that needs help, let the monkeys get them justice. I am praying that Caylee did not die in vain and laws will be passed that this travesty will never happen again. ((((( HUGS ))))

Can, don't allow anyone to take away your hope.  It has been two years this past weekend that my sister Connie had a massive stroke.  She is still getting better and that is not wishful thinking, it is a fact.  The brain is the most amazing part of our body and what it can retrain itself to do is a thing of beauty to behold.  She still can't talk (though some words are now coming out), she can't use one arm, she wears a brace and uses a cane to help her walk, but . . . one of our goals is for her to drive.  It will happen as long as we work hard and don't take no for an answer.

Sister, your Connie has always been in my prayers. It is wonderful that she is improving and it will take time. Continued prayers for her and you. I know you have been her biggest support.

OMG  What an amazing story. I can't imagine how this family feels. To have your mom lost to you for 40 years thinking she was dead to find out she is alive. WOW!!!

I agree with you 4donks - the fact that you can kill your child and dump her like trash is so awful I can bearly able to tolerate it!

It's stunning!   

I am at a loss for words this morning too.  Can't even pray -- so I am just spending some quiet time alone with God, no talking, just being.  It's all I can muster.

  I totally understand Sister. I am still in shock as are my coworkers, our couriers, Josef's groomer and all friends on FB. I really think KC and Baez thinks they got a million dollar deal, they don't have squat because monkeys and the man on the street know that KC is guilty.

  I feel so bad for feeling sorry for myself when you monkeys have such worries that I cannot even fathom.

Please forgive me

 I have family in good health, a loving husband, monkey friends and friends, a dog that has horrible belly trouble and feet issues that praying time will heal.

I can't go to Caylee's tonight, I cannot cry anymore. I didn't cry yesterday, it happend this morning and I couldn't stop. I know that she is in a better place, but cannot fathom the jurors and their stupidity. I hope they all are watching NG, HLN, etc and now knowing they did not give precious Caylee justice. I hope she haunts them at night, during the day and the afternoon.

 I have family in good health, a loving husband, monkey friends and friends, a dog that has horrible belly trouble and feet issues that praying time will heal.

I can't go to Caylee's tonight, I cannot cry anymore. I didn't cry yesterday, it happend this morning and I couldn't stop. I know that she is in a better place, but cannot fathom the jurors and their stupidity. I hope they all are watching NG, HLN, etc and now knowing they did not give precious Caylee justice. I hope she haunts them at night, during the day and the afternoon.

Today I had the dreaded doctor's appointment to renew prescriptions. This is the one my sister was complaining about me ignoring doctor's orders about gaining 10 lbs. My original plan was to wear ankle weights inside my boots but suddenly had a brilliant "B" plan. When he came into the exam room with my chart with my vitals he told me he wanted to talk about weight. I told him I was so glad he brought up that issue because I really didn't know how to broach the topic with him but that we were all talking in the waiting room and all his patients agree they were worried about his health because of the extra weight he has,we were afraid of diabetes, heart attack, high blood pressure and stroke. Thanked him very much for listening to our concerns..wished him well and left with my prescriptions.  No mention of my weight.
