Monkeys, please pray for my coworker's nephew. He was on an oil well at work this morning and the pipe that goes in the ground popped out and almost amputated his leg. He splinted it with two boards and put a tournequent on it and when EMS got there they were amazed he did that himself because if not he would have bled to death. He is out of surgery, but is in a lot of pain. He has come through such hard times of getting his life back together, his kids back and now this. Any prayers would be great.

Monkeys, please pray for my coworker's nephew. He was on an oil well at work this morning and the pipe that goes in the ground popped out and almost amputated his leg. He splinted it with two boards and put a tournequent on it and when EMS got there they were amazed he did that himself because if not he would have bled to death. He is out of surgery, but is in a lot of pain. He has come through such hard times of getting his life back together, his kids back and now this. Any prayers would be great. 

How terrible. I will certainly say a prayer for him.

  I have had this song in my head for two weeks, since the choir (we don't have one)  sang it for our Priest's 70th birthday. It reminds me that ALL us monkeys are here for each other and missing children. I sent it to CC when he was down about the loss of his job and to let him know I am here for him, just as I hope to be for you all. 

Sorry if it is sappy and it is religous it just reminds me of what us monkeys have been through together with the sadness and seeking justice for Caylee.

OK here goes...4donks great revenge. 

Today I had the dreaded doctor's appointment to renew prescriptions. This is the one my sister was complaining about me ignoring doctor's orders about gaining 10 lbs. My original plan was to wear ankle weights inside my boots but suddenly had a brilliant "B" plan. When he came into the exam room with my chart with my vitals he told me he wanted to talk about weight. I told him I was so glad he brought up that issue because I really didn't know how to broach the topic with him but that we were all talking in the waiting room and all his patients agree they were worried about his health because of the extra weight he has,we were afraid of diabetes, heart attack, high blood pressure and stroke. Thanked him very much for listening to our concerns..wished him well and left with my prescriptions.  No mention of my weight.
