Hi Guys...

I need suggestions on how to get urine smell out of carpet without replacing the carpet..

my little ::dogwag::marked his spot..and I can not get the smell out..TIA

I recommend using "Simple Solution", or one of the other enzyme based cleaners. (Nature's Miracle or a generic)  If on carpet, you would pour enough on the spot to go on down through the padding.  You may only see a small spot on top of the carpet, but believe me, there is a bigger area of urine below it.  I also have some in a spray bottle I use for hard surfaces.  Pet stores sell the enzyme cleaners.  You can also add some of the solution to carpet shampoo when you clean the carpets, but first you need to saturate the area.  If it's a new spot, take a clean cloth or pad of paper towels and soak up as much of the urine as you can.  I stand on it and keep changing the pad/paper towels to get up all I can.  And then pour on the enzyme cleaners, let that soak and then clean that up with paper towels or pad.  Simple Solution or any of the generic brands that are ENZYMES will work, get cheapest.  They also work on vomit, blood, grass stains and etc.  You can add a cup to the laundry.  What you really, really want to do it treat each spot so the pet doesn't keep returning to it, which they will try to do if they can smell it.


One thing that is important is to get a black light. They're about $20.00 Pet stores such as Petsmart & Petco sell small, hand held black lights.  You turn off all the lights-best to do when it's darkest.  And hold the light near the down near the carpet.  You may find other places there is urine from a sneak pee or splashed urine etc.  It will glow.  Treat these areas.  Look on the back of the black light box and it has instructions.  Also, with a black light, scorpions can be illuminated as well as the star on the abdomen of a black widow.

Well today I purchased professional dog clippers. It cost $150.00 to have Beela shaved down (not groomed) and they are estimating almost $200.00 to shave down Jazz. They will have to be done again in August so I am going to do it myself. The clippers cost the price of having Jazz done once so I'll give it a try. Fancy will still be groomed due to her skin issues. I hope that Mac doesn't laugh at them.
My sister has groomed her dogs for years and will assist although her dogs are small.

I sure hope that everyone is right about justice coming for Caylee..that Casey and her parents will get what is coming to them..I still keep hoping for a miracle that JP will have looked into things closer and will see that something is amiss...sigh...

I still can not wrap my mind around Cindy still kissing Casey Ho's arse...She is as sick as her daughter is..when is she gonna get it? her daughter is psycho and has no feelings for her, her dead little daughter or any of the family??

Hi everyone..back from vacation and since the trial is over, I can get back to living and keeping up over here...I swear A's u all are my witnesses that I will never allow myself to get so involved with a trial ever again as I did with Casey ho trial..too disappointing and hurtful with the outcome..I am still horribly down and out ...

Hi Cookie..Please feel better...I can tell by your post you are very upset..as we all are...I still say that the good Lord in heaven has a big plan that will be revealed to us in his own time.

I know Cookie, we keep trying to think like REASONABLE people and it just does not make sense.  No matter how you look at it.  I don't see the Judge having any way to do anything now.  Unless something VERY VERY wrong and illegal took place in the trial?  I listened to Jeff Ashton's interview with Kathy B last night and that helped to ease the worry for me somewhat.  I would give you the link, but I am too stoopid to know how to do that.  As for the A's...they all knew early on, back in 08 what had happened.  They are complicit in the coverup and the lying.  They knew the DT was going to pull these strings and they were given the roles to play.  They played them very well, I believe.  Hence nothing but confusion coming from the A's.  Planned confusion.  JMO

Caddy that was a great interview with Jeff and Kathi. Wish I knew the link. Maybe it is in the media part of Caylee's thread. ITA Planned confusion. They knew they were going to sabotage the State.

After the grooming problem with Mac I have the dogs shaved at the vet. Because Jazz is 150lbs with felted fur (cords) he takes hours to do.  I think I'll work on him over several days..whack with scissors 1st and then tackle with the clippers. Say lots of prayers for both of us. By the way Lumpy does get clipped because of his Cushings he doesn't shed his winter coat. The other donks get curried and they are fine.

That makes sense now, I remember the problem with Mac. I will be saying lots or prayers. I didn't realize the winter coat wouldn't shed with Cushings. Lumpy and all your babies are so lucky to have you 4 donks.

Good Luck 4Donks. YIKES it's been years since I had a dog that had to groomed. Not even close.  I figure  you have learned how to work your tractor and hogger and all the other things. You will do just fine with grooming the dogs.
