Was having a pity party last night. Too much time on my hands. Over thinking too much. Haven't heard back from Cook county yet. Will call them tomorrow about next steps, if any, about the job. Then must decide wether to get a u-haul or hire movers. Anyone know how much it costs to move 920 miles with movers to tow a car and move only about 1500 lbs of stuff?  And if u-haul, how to get stuff up three flights of stairs. Then start looking for a job in Texas and not knowing my way around. Then.....  See what I mean thinking too much. Health insurance will cost me over $600 a month. Stop thinking CC. Just need prayers now.

  Sorry about the pity party, stop over thinking CC! It will all work out. The U Haul will be the best bet I'm sure. You are in my prayers and I am here and other monkeys are here for you.

I can, but it is more expensive than his COBRA 

That really sucks, cobra doesn't impress me at all, it was nearly twice as expensive as our retirement health plan was.

My sister who works for a County in Ca. is retiring next year.  Her live-in boyfriend of 20 years is also retiring from the school dist....He is covered till he's 65 (3 years) but sister has life time medical because they don't pay into SS so she is putting bf on her plan before she goes and he will have her great plan for life also and it won't cost her a dime!

Wow that is great she can do that for him. COBRA is ridiculously high, but I really thought it would be cheaper to put him on mine. Guess because we are such a small company it is more expensive.

Thanks for the advise and words of encouragement. No room out here to put a POD unit as parking restrictions on street out front and no room in alley. Will probably get yeehaw and tow car with JSM's help. Found a web site out in Irving I think where I can hire two movers for four hours at a total cost of $269. Not bad cause I sure can't haul stuff up three flights of stairs. Will know this time tomorrow about next steps with job. If no job propect start packing and tossing stuff and will move sometime in September as we have our cruise to go on the end of august.

It hit 110.7 degrees here today, looks like no relief in sight! 

Dr. Pepper says they are rising prices.....what next!

Do we save our pension checks on the first of the month & not pay bills in case our fruity govt. holds up our SS?

Think I'll stop watching the News or they'll come up with some new incurable disease that only Dr. Pepper drinking folk whos outside temp goes over 110 & paid all their bills on time come down with.......................OOps too late weather dude just said all of North Texas could be looking at temps well over 110 by next week!!!!!!!!!
