doing some catch up - I have some heart shaped stickers that puffs when wet......

My daughter and I have used some heart shaped stickers before and they're not supposed (or should I say they don't advertise it) to but when they get wet they puff up aka become 3d or raised & stay that way.  We've used different sticker brands & several of them do it.  She's two & loves stickers & water!

Don't know if it's relevant but just a thought.

How can they prove a negative?  No evidence of a drowning, but no evidence of "not" a drowning.  I don't get it.

If Cindy had only fessed up to the fight on June 15, 2008.......  I hope she can live with herself for the injustice she has brought upon her beloved granddaughter.

I so agree. Cindy was the catalyst in this case and she accepts no responsibility for that by trying to cover up for KC. Caylee's blood is on their hands too. They KNEW KC was psycho - even admitted it time after time. Called her a sociopath to many of her friends including Ryan P. who testified to that in his depo. They KNEW what she was and let her have Caylee knowing that.

ITA...it was like Sindy let a poisonous snake run loose in the house.  She absolutely knew what ICA was capable of.  She bolstered that by her first words when she found out Caylee was 'missing'.  "What have YOU done?"

I still think she 'killed' animals as a youngster.

I think she killed animals too as a child. I think she has been doing cruel and crazy things her whole life. They have known she was a loose cannon and let her have Caylee in her company KNOWING that for years. I agree it was like letting a poisonous snake run loose in their house. Worse still it was like leaving a hungry tiger to cavort not only with the child but on society as a whole.

Interesting question by the judge. He is going to hold them to providing the evidence they claimed in their opening statement and that is really pissing them off. They "thought" they could get by with that.

the main glaring difference i see between the cases mason is talking about and this case is that the other defendents didn't kill their 2 year old children

You may not want to hear this, but it is possible Casey will be found guilty, sentenced to "X" number of years and then released with time served. Remember, she has already served three years.

Makes me unhappy to think this, but it is a real possibility.

Casey is not capable of functioning normally in the world. Anyone want to start a pool on how long it would take her to screw up?  Not fair to her or the remaining population.
 

And then what would happen? She goes back to live with Cindy & the man who molested her? She pizzed off all her old friends and any new ones will just be there for the publicity. She'll never live in peace. Remember those mobs outside the A's? Nothing will compare to the mobs that will be there if she ever gets released. She thinks she'll go free, write a book, make money and go on living a normal life, she's sadly mistaken!! Also she'll probably get death threats, death attempts, etc...

You are right. And with the multitude of watchers and listeners, this country will be up in arms over "injustice" for Caylee. Just waaaay too many people following this case. Partly due to the state of the world, i.e., wars, climate changes, state of the economy, etc., so many other tragedies to deal with. Families are struggling to stay together and survive. They cannot imagine a mother murdering her own child. They see it as foreign to their way of thinking.

I would LOVE to see how the defense explains the duct tape.  If it was an accidental drowning, why the need to put Duct tape on poor Caylee's mouth?  Just makes absolutely NO sense.

The way I understand it is that a conviction on 1st degree, in this case, does NOT have to prove premeditation because Caylee was a child under 12?.  Mason twisted that.

And that a conviction on 1st degree has a mandatory sentence of LWOP or Death.  No lesser sentence for the 1st degree.
