My husband just said the jury will not like Mason and will be I agree put off by his delivery. I agree.  And like it or not that will come into play....subconsciously, but it will come into play.

Amazing - it didn't affect KC at all - her parents once again are destroyed by KC.

Guess they were the only ones who actually the Motion would be granted.
Their tears no longer tug at my heart.

If they were rational people, those tears would have been tears of relief that "Lizzie Borden" wouldn't be sharing their house anytime soon. But they aren't anywhere close to rational, or normal.

Why would they do that? The jury wasn't even in the court room.

Wonder if he is on the phone with Liposuction Linda or any of the other dufense arsewipes specialists to hit the talk show circuits harder?
He spends a lot of time on his phone.  Maybe he is using a lifeline.

Defense Motion For Acquittal Denied In Casey Trial
Posted: 5:24 am EDT June 15, 2011Updated: 11:44 am EDT June 15, 2011

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Judge Belvin Perry has denied a standard defense motion asking for Casey Anthony's case to be thrown out on Wednesday. Casey is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee Anthony.
 ::snipping2::

Judge Perry denied the defense motion asking for the case to be thrown out. The defense has claimed that Caylee was not slain but instead drowned in her grandparents' pool.

Over several weeks of testimony, prosecutors have laid out their case that Caylee was suffocated with duct tape, though a medical examiner testified the cause of death was undetermined. Only the "manner of death" was ruled to be homicide.

Prosecutors have built their mostly circumstantial case on 25-year-old Casey's conduct and the lies she told about her daughter's whereabouts.

They also have relied on forensics experts. They've talked about smells of human decomposition in Casey's car, searches on her computer, including for chloroform several times, and duct tape found on the girl's skull.

I guess this is supposed to be Baez's bombshell.

The skull not opened. Geeshhhhhhhh............the purpose of opening a skull in an autopsy is to get the brain and other parts of the interior of the skull out to examine them. In this case, there was no brain or anything else left in the skull. The autopsy stated that there was dirt & sediment only in the skull and it was x-rayed and the sediment washed out to examine.

Which begs the question, Casey goes free, then what?  What place in the world would she have?  And, if I were Cindy and George, I'd be sleeping with both eyes open and a weapon iin my hand.

Im not sure the denial for an acquittal is the entirety of their tears, the motive being put out there for the world to see is a good part of it as well but I cant believe it would be a shock to either George or Cindy that their monster is that spiteful.

That's insane. Did they expect her to be acquitted or took it as a sign of what's yet to come?

I have come to believe she doesn't. I now believe bozo and mason have blown smoke up her butt so long she even believes their lies. Kind of an appropriate ending though, for the liar to be lied to and in the end have to pay the price.

Monk, with every fiber of my being I don't think ICA will go free.  There is such a difference between any doubt and reasonable doubt, which His Honor will explain to the jury in detail.
Regardless, the Ants will never have a decent night's sleep because IMO they have not stood up for Caylee, but have instead chosen ICA.  They know in their heart of hearts the truth (although they may not know all the details) but still refuse to accept it.  May the bags under their eyes continue to darkened their pathetic faces.

I don't have any emotion for them at all.  They have never stood up for their precious Caylee.  They have only looked out for themselves and KC.  I can say that when this is all over I wish the state would take them down for obstruction of justice.

Okay, the visual I have is them using old fashioned bellows to blow smoke up Casey, and her mouth opening, and smoke coming out.  There is somethng wrong with me. Monkey Devil!

They may not have realized that is just a standard procedure and thought mumbles actually had something there. Then again, this may be their day of reckoning to the fact that KC is going to be found guilty after what the judge said.

I think this whole time the defense team has actually convinced Casey that they can get her off. They have asked how many times for a mistrial? They probably didn't even tell her the acquittal request was usual business for the court. They have come up with this ridiculous opening statement and it seems they are going that path for their presentation. Blame Kronk, blame George, blame Lee but don't blame Casey.
I think so too

One of my ancestors was the Borden's housekeeper. THAT's pretty scary, too.
