But the defense said she drowned by accident.  Are they now gonna claim she was kidnapped?  It is impossible to follow the thought process in this case!

The defence is all over the place.  What is perfectly ... George is the defence's sacrificial lamp.

All the prosecution would have to imply is that KC had access to George's cell phone.

This convicted felon would known if it was a female or male that was trying to contact him 3 years ago, if it even gets that far.   I feel that OCSO and the FBI would have flagged that record since all their phone records were thoroughly looked at

Why wait till NOW? Isn't it too late as they had a deadline?

They did have a deadline, but they will try anything.  Let's see if the judge allows him on their list. 

I cannot for the guilty verdict to shut their yaps up. 

I was watching something on TV last night got me googling.  A prosectutor in Texas, Kelly Seigler, who while trying a lady who said her hubby beat her, and she killed him by stabbing him 193 or so times (imagine how long it takes to stab somebody 193 times), brought their bed into the court room, made somebody get on the bed like her theory, ties his arms down, and then straddles him (yes the prosecutor straddled him), and the judge allowed it.  The case was appealed and they won an appeal and she got 5 years shaved off her sentence, but IMO, the Casey Anthony prosecutors have been stellar and classy.

Mark Lippman, the attorney representing the Anthony family, said George Anthony does not know Thompson and has never heard his name.

The Casey Anthony defense team recently sent an investigator to talk to Thompson, but he would not cooperate.

the defense is calling him to testify because he wouldn't talk to them in the first place.

I wonder, in their motion to add this witness, did they include these phone records as proof?

I think they are all praying the world will end by 9 am tomorrow because they have nothing and all their attempts to squash evidence and ask for an aquittal have been denied and it's do or die now.(pun intented, lol) Time for the sideshow to take center stage.

My 13yo daughter was petrified that that was actually going to happen.  I had to hold my laughter in.  She said her friends were all talking about it.  Next day, when it did not happen, she called the guy who predicted it crazy.

According to Anthony's attorneys, Vasco Thompson, who currently lives in Orlando, had unexplained communications with George Anthony.

The defense claims that the communication occurred during the time Casey Anthony's daughter, Caylee, was reported missing. Attorneys said there were four communications on July 14, 2008, a day before the Anthony family learned that Casey Anthony's car was towed from an Amscot parking lot. Family members said the car reeked of the smell of death.

It's not known who contacted whom or if Thompson and George Anthony talked to each other.
