I found an article from June of 2005, which had one line which SAID IT ALL:
It's the first time Aruba has done such a big search," said Angela, a 31-year-old lottery supervisor. "We want to keep Aruba's name good. That's why we're here, to help find Natalee."  http://tinyurl.com/2jqel2
we want to keep aruba's name good
The only thing they cared about was tourism and Aruba's name.

Then that's where they need to feel the pain. They won't soon forget Natalee's name, or Beth's.

And what a wonderful name it is...as long as the sun rises and sets each day the word Aruba will be associated with Natalee Holloway.  No way around it,not now, not ever.  The island that holds rapists and murderers and drug dealers in high esteem.  Liars and cheats too for that matter.

I am starting to wonder how much help Paulus may have had from the ATA to help sweep this under the rug. And you are right.. They won't soon forget Natalee or Beth.

Just passing through on my way to the Monkey Bunkey!

One of these days, given his control issues, Joran is going to cross the wrong person and they will fry him but good.  He will mess with the wrong girl or do something to set somebody off and they will make him regret it.

Like Robots, I think it will be an Aruban for they are the ones he has hurt the most, destroying their reputation as he has done.

But given his lack of concern for others, it's just a matter of time until Joran strikes again and sooner or later it will be the wrong person he crosses and they will make it their business to see that they find out everything and expose him.  I am surprised he hasn't already done it.

It's been a very long day around here!  Good Night, Monkeys remaining!

I hope  the 10 investigators are not just doing a flyby like those F-16s and are actually there to "investigate".

BTW, hello monkeys.

Happy Birthday, CBB!

Jossy is the only person on that island that has tried to do anything to help this family.  He may not have been right there at every minute for Beth, but he has done what needed to be done and now he's paying the price.  The government is not mad at him about that bribery stuff.  They do that all the time.  They will not forgive Jossy for what he has done for Natalee's family.  The MEP will hold a grudge.  I sensed that when Jossy was speaking on Dana the other night.  Do I make any sense?

A couple of monkeys are trying to pull together something similar to the Boston demonstration. Please read the thread (just two pages right now) and try to help out with this.

The mood in the cage was kinda off.....I think there's a lot of fear for the outcome of the shotgun blast of investigators. I already have her in a Statue Of Liberty Hat........... Laughing  Thought we could use a little giggle!  Wink

Hugging Nemo for now, but I am sleeping with one eye open tonight.  Too much mischief in the cage.  Are you listening CBB? Probably not. Rolling Eyes
