Good mormimg Monkeys.  It's a beautiful morning here in Atlanta.  Not so good in VA though.  How horriffic!!

I dreamed about Joran vd Sloot last night!  It's really weird, but here is the gist of it.  

He and I were going to the same college in NY.  We were on spring break.  Somehow we both ended up in at Myrtle Beach in SC at the same campgroun/resort.  My father had an RV. Joran stayed in the hotel part of the resort.  Ha Ha!!  He had that skanky blonde from last spring with him.  Somehow I had a motorcycle and a tiny Yorkie.  He kept stealing my motorcycle and going real fast and would wreck my bike, but the bike always ended up not hurt.  His skank girlfriend ripped off a bunch of the hotel rooms.  She took boxes and boxes of stuff from the rooms and said they gave it to her.  I talked to Joran and told him to stop stealing my motorcycle and the skank was with him.  She had a deeply wrinkled face that she tried to conceal with heavy makeup.  Being the blunt person that I am, I said to her," Good God Almighty what happened to your face?  You sure do have some deep wrinkles on your face.  What are you, about 100 years old or did someone throw-up on your neck?"  She walked away.  So I drove thru the parking lot making sure everything worked like it should for the long trip back to NY.  As I drove thru the lot, I saw Joran's dad's jeep filled with the cacca that she had ripped off.  It was even tied to the hood and blocking most of the windshield.  Joran had messed with my breaks and they didn't work right so I got some other guy to fix them for me.  Then I drove thru the lot again laughing at how Joran and the skank looked like the Beverly Hillbillies with all that cacca hanging everywhere on the jeep.  As I drove off I yelled, "I hope you never make it back to NY."

Then I heard Meredith from the Today show talking about the tragedy in VA.  I had woken up.  I went outside to my little retreat near my waterfall, and sitting there amongst the gloriousness of the dogwoods and my flowers I remembered the dream.  I told myself I have to tell the dream to the monkeys.

I interpret it to mean that Joran is running away with this skank to avoid facing charges against him for what he did to Natalee.  I guess the college setting was from the tragedy in VA and Mrytle Beach is where we used to have our family reunions at a beautiful resort.  Also, we used to go camping in a travel trailer from when I was in 3rd grade until 12th.

Morning Monkeys, just reading through what I missed from last night.
I was wondering if anyone knows what  Thornton Ratliff                         looks like,  and if it could possibly be him in the pic?
 
Sometime  between 8:00 and 10:00pm on Sunday, WATSON went into the casino of the hotel and saw JURON VAN DER SLOOT. She went to a change machine and saw VAN DER SLOOT standing near RUTH MCVAY and MADISON WHATLEY  near a blackjack table.  After Watson played some slot machines for a few minutes, she went  to the blackjack table where she had seen her friends. She saw VAN DER SLOOT sitting at the blackjack table with classmate THORNTON RATLIFF. VAN DER SLOOT appeared to be betting a lot of money. He also had some kind of small electronic device on the table in front of him that the device was called an "ipod" which was something similar to an mp-3 player. Some of WATSON'S female friends were standing around VAN DER SLOOT while he played, but WATSON does not remember seeing HOLLOWAY there. After a minute or two, WATSON walked into the hotel lobby and saw HOLLOWAY coming out of the bathroom and had the above-mentioned conversation.

As far as I know Katherine Whatley's statement (302) is the only mention of a classmate named Thornton Ratliff.  However ... according to Katherine (Madison) Whatley (302) when she, Natalee and some of their classmates came to the Black Jack table ... Joran and an "older man" were already there gambling with other classmates.    

It should be remembered that the Greta/Joran transcript as well as  official witness statements of both Joran and Paulus ... have Paulus leaving the POKER table half way through the tournament for home. This occured prior to Joran going to the BLACK JACK table where the encounter with Natalee and her friends took place.

Lies are created to cover the truth. Why are Joran and Paulus compelled to cover up a Paulus and Natalee connection?  Beth Twitty was aware that Paulus and Natalee had met at the casino at least six/seven month prior to the revelation of the casino recordings.  I contend her knowledge must have come from Natalee's classmates.

Initial reports were that the group came to made their last part of investigation on the case of NH disappearance, but then during the weekend, information also came in that the Team came for the investigation on the Namdar bribery intent on Micheal Williams and Glembert Croes, who acted as MEP members, while they were actually from other party OLA.

This morning information coming from the Netherlands, denied that the team came exclusively for the NH case and a few moments ago the Minister of Justice indeed confirmed that the Team was for the NH Case in a last intent before closing the case and also for the investigation on the Namdar group. I will get the details on what he said later on.

In the second investigation, the use of RST is also mentioned.

Looking at this picture, it seems that Jacobs has joined them.  Is that him on the right?

Klaas ... I love my avatar too.  The minute you posted it as a choice for the Easter season ... I knew that I was never going to let it go ... Easter or no Easter. I liken that ducky to a security blanket and ... you have to admit that I am the cutest monkey on the forum.    

Klaas ... I appreciate all the work you do moderating the SM forum and the FP comment section.  I do believe that SM is the only open/public forum that is truly honoring to Natalee and her family.

Those commercials drive me crazy. There are several reasons for that, but one is that I can only understand about half what they say in that little song. Other than the part about dancing, can you understand what they're saying?

Do you think Joran had the red jeep out the night of the 29th/30th?
And if you do think Joran had it out, and if you believe the cops found out prior to June 13th that the jeep had been out in the wee hours of the morning of the 30th, but they ( the cops) by the 13th didn't know yet who had the jeep out, how did the cops know the jeep was out?
I think it was a GPS transmitter.

After enhancing this photo, it's clear to me anyway that the dealer at the table is NOT Guido:

Besides just buying a new car and skipping his graduation he also cut short his 3 month internship as a crouper at the casino. Five witnesses came forward saying Guido had deep scratches on his face..Some as long as three inches..He hires the most expensive lawyer in europe and his father goes on record saying he doesnt know Joran Van Der Sloot.. At the same time his attorney Spong says they are good friends.

I am still curious why the ALE mentioned Battery and Heavy Battery when they arrested Guido and GVC. They claim they have no evidence.

Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad reported Monday that Guido W. was doing a three-month internship at the casino in the Marriott Hotel in Aruba when Holloway disappeared.

The paper cited an employee of the hotel as saying Guido W. left Aruba in June, before his internship was finished, to study in the Netherlands.

In an interview with Dutch NOS television Sunday, Spong said Aruban authorities suspect his client of "assisting in the murder, battery and kidnapping of Natalee Holloway."

O/T....This is a drive by post, as I realized I made a mistake last night when talking about the school shootings. We were discussing that many of them seem to have occured in April. I said that the Amish school shootings were a year ago....That was wrong. Geesh, that shooting occurred in the fall (they just had the 6 month anniversary a few weeks ago) not a year as I alluded to last night. They opened a new school for the Amish students on the six month anniversary as the old one was torn down after the killings. I will blame my mistake for last night on being too tired to think. (Well, I need some excuse)....The memorial today for Virg. Tech was very sad....OK, sorry for the interruption, back on topic monkeys, see you all later!
