I don't have a link to it, I'm sorry but I just heard it a few days ago.  Does anyone remember Cindy saying that no matter what happened, Casey had to have had help.  I wonder if the defense will bring this up when insinuating that George helped cover up the - uh hem chuckle - drowning.
I remember Lippman saying that on HLN with Vinny P

TruTV   discusing the convict issue & reporting that the guy's phone number was probably just mixed up as George was trying to contact someone from work

Not to be too insensitive here but just showing how easy it is to misdial.....

I called a tile company to come out & give us a quote to retile our laundry room.  Left several messages saying I just want you to come measure & give me a quote.  I mistakenly called a funeral home!!!  Can you imagine what they thought! They received calls asking them to come "measure" & give me a quote!  I called them three times & was upset they weren't returning my calls - I was redialing!

It happens to everyone.   We will never see this guy testify.

I for one would like to see him testify.  I think once he does, it will confirm to the jury that the defense has no clue.

Weak first witness for defense. They are laying groundwork but still didn't start with a bang. He'll work on tying this together later. Strategy will be to lay the pieces of puzzle out and connect them later.

Hi Sunny!! I agree with Cubbee about NeJame. He's been a clear voice of common sense in hiss commentary about this trial. He's doing a great job.

WFTV blogger asked the question "Can a lawyer lie in court"   Bill Schaeffer, no good lawyer would lie in court.

Well, the clowns have lied more than Pinocchio & as much as their client!!

HeHe....notice he said no GOOD lawyer would lie in court....

(I apologize in advance if this has been already asked, but I haven't had time to read through this entire thread yet.)

Question:  Nancy Grace introduced a new theory tonight that suggests that Caylee may have been duct-taped and placed into the garbage bags while still alive.  So wouldn't that negate the "hair/death band" evidence?  Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've been under the impression that her deceased body was wrapped in a blanket and placed in the trunk, head somewhat exposed, which allowed a few hairs to fall out.  Also, the evidence of an impression of a body in a fetal position leaving an imprint would support that the body was not in a bag.  So if the body was in a bag in the trunk the entire time, the hair wouldn't have been exposed and thus unable to shed onto the carpet.  Right?

Well kc took the bag out of the trunk.  I believe the skull was at the top of the bag when found.  My thinking the hair could of come out when transferring the body to the woods.
Was thinking about this:
Who know's HOW kc picked up the bag Caylee was in.
1. Pulled the bag out from only the top.
2. Pulled out from the top and kc put her hands/arms around the middle or the bottom.
Remember Caylee was in the composition time. Maybe the body was in the mushy mod.
Think that's when fluids came out.

How would anyone pick this bag out of the truck?????

For got to add.

Calyee was what 40 pds????

How would you pick this bag out of kc's trunk?????????????

Was testing the snip thingy....worked
 ::justice2NJ::

I'm in my 40's with a 2 year old that weighs 38lbs.  I'm 5'0" and have had lots of back surgeries.  I carry her up stairs, lay her down while sleeping and though my back doesn't like it at the end of the day I can do it!  Plus she had some adrenalin going I'm sure!
[/quote]

Same here, I could easily carry my son to his room when he fell asleep either in my room or sitting on the couch with me....I did this all the time until we was 8 (and about 55 lbs) and even now I have to do it on a rare occasion (he wieghs 75lbs now), and I weigh 105. I think it's just something parents can do, and also we probably build up to it gradually so it's not like you've never picked up a sleeping child for the first time when they weigh over 30lbs, generally you have been doing it for many yrs off and on. I hope that makes sense LOL

I don't see the point in showing there is no blood evidence.  The state never said blood was found.

I would imagine Casey changed clothes very quickly once her dad thought she was going to work. I doubt if she stayed in those pants. Testimony showed Caylee was decomposing before being put in the trunk by one of experts so this is just a show of nothing for defense IMO.

I like NeJame's input in this. Thanks for sharing.

TRANSCRIPT OF TAPED INTERVIEW OF GEORGE ANTHONY
CONDUCTED BY: DETECTIVE EDWARDS
CASE # 08-74777

<snipped>

A: Right, she had a pinkish color top. One of those, uh, one has a sleeve on it. She had her little sunglasses on, they was white rimmed sunglasses. Her hair was in a ponytail that day, I remember that very very well. And my daughter had a like decent pair of like dress slacks on, top that she could be wearing to be going to work. There’s not nothing unusual about the way she was dressed. I know she had a backpack full of stuff.

Q: What color were her um, slacks, do you remember?

A: Like a charcoal grey, like a pin stripe, like a pin stripe through it.

The State's got to love the fact this witness is now going media savy on the defense..taking a page form the defense's own notebook.  What comes around goes around..or is it what goes arounds comes around?
