Is there a verdict on the check fraud case? And if on the off chance she was found not guilty in this case, would she still have to serve time b/c of the check frauds?

I think she plead guilty IIRC and she is serving her time for whatever sentence she got now so it will be timed served IIRC?

That was so sweet of that family to release the balloons for Caylee... I lit a few more candles for Caylee, especially today ♥♥♥

One would think the defense would have dressed their inmate in more appropriate colors than white.
The virginal look.  Yeah right.....so far off it isn't even funny.
She's a virgin alright, she's just not very good at it.

Actually, when she plead guilty, her time spent in jail was time served for her check fraud case at that time. So time was served way back when.  She is currently in jail now due to no bond due to her charges now.

Or she could be taking notes now because the defense is so confusing and the prosecution wasn't.

maybe she is doodleing out of boredom.

The State could stop it lickity split .... George and Lee could stop it lickity split ... IF conclusive paternity tests were submitted to the court as evidence.

Janet

true Janet, but Caylee's paternity is not a factor in this case.

It is a factor if the jury thinks it is factor.  In his opening statement Jose Baez justifies why Casey was capable of turning off emotions while living the good life in the 30 days following the demise of her little girl.  The justification was that Casey was sexually abused from an early age by her own father.

The jury needs official affirmation that George Anthony is not the father of Casey.  If this affirmation is not forthcoming by the State ... the jury is left with "a reasonable doubt".  My question is "Why is this official affirmation" not submitted into evidence?"

Janet

we will just have to agree to disagree on this point, Janet..since neither of us really know what the jury is thinking we could discuss this to the ends of the earth and it would still only be our opinions

#Caseyanthony The thing is, I spoke to body language and handwriting experts and they believe Lee is somewhat deceptive. Maybe he has info?

So she already served the time for that case? How long was time supposed to be served?

I think Baaz wants the jury to know that although the present witness did some tests on paternity, they did not show paternity because they were preliminary and would have had to been send on to someone else for more refined testing.

Why was further testing not conducted?  Why stop at the preliminary testing?

Janet

That witness does not do paternity testing in detail.  They would have had to be sent elsewhere and I expect the State would have had to request this.

Why wasn't this done?   Lippman claims that Cindy and George were informed of the defence's strategy in February.  Why was George not prepared with a conclusive paternity report that would clear him of Baez's insinuations?

Could it be that the Anthonys are one with the defence's strategy to create "reasonable doubt" in jury deliberations?  Could it be all about attempting to save their daughter from death penalty/LWOP?

Janet

Janet, I don't know why this wasn't done by the State.  May not be in the interest of the State's case.

If George wished to prepare himself with a paternity report, it's possible he has done that.  Don't know how he'd get it in though.

Serenity I agree, it makes me mad too!

It makes sense if Cindy was frenzied and trying to clean up to protect her daughter.

Disgusting isn't it? If any of them had their way, there would be no justice for Caylee.

I'd really like to know if we have spent more time at sidebar than actually presenting the case.  It sure seems that way.
