  When I heard the "pigs in a blanket" comment earlier, I almost died laughing.  However, I notice that Casey also found it funny as he!! !

What I think is so special about this demonstration of destroying this witness is that it will resonate with the jury for the rest of the trial that the dumbfenses' witnesses are ALL lying!!!  No credibility at all.

I have watched quite a few trials...but I have never seen such a cross-examination so masterful as Ashton's.

 

I should call them and tell them all their 30+ years of research and the millions the university has spent on it was for nil since all they had to use was "baccy juice." They will understand that since they are in Tennessee.

How long to get a (alleged) PhD? He could have went in the service and be halfway to retirement . The boy could have made something out of his life. Now what? He's the bugboy who help get totmom the needle.

I would need to break out the Depends!  This is my favorite day of the trial, so far.  I love seeing JA giving it to the witness and JB and JP letting him do it!

There is a big difference between book knowledge and practical science.

Worth it? I have sat here almost in tears hearing Ashton destroy this lying tongue. What a brilliant man he is and when this is over (so I don't get drug into it) I am sending them all gift cards for dinner and lots of drinks.

I am sure Henry Lee found out about Ashton and THAT is the reason he quit.  He went on NG very early in the case and said he was working for 'FREE'.  Then he quit over money....haha.
