Has for a long time.....thus the tantrum where he flipped out when Alan Jackson questioned him, and Jeff reminds me of Alan, both don't take BS and have no problem going for the jugular and shredding a witness.

Could someone give a brief recap of what led to this?

Defense first witness Dr. Rodriguez didn't get very far into his testimony before Mr. Ashton objected and it was revealed that the report that should have contained ALL opinions he would give in his testimony were not included.  He was removed from the stand for deposition this afternoon and will testify on Monday.

First witness testified to opinions NOT in his written report which went directly against the court order stating all witnesses must do full reports on anything opinions they will testify to.  It was in regards to debunking the duct tape video and he had discussions with Bobo after that witness in the past few days about what he would say to prove it was not a reliable video.

Jeff used it later on while grilling Spitz. I have to admit that I had to look it up, not easy without knowing how to spell it.

Dr. Spitz used it first. He was beamoaning Dr. G not letting him do the autopsy with her. He said if she would have let him do it with her there wouldn't be this "kerfuffle" now.

 When JA was questioning Spitz on him liking high profile case....Were you involved in the Phil Spector case? Yes. Were you involved in the OJ case. Yes. Were you involved in the Menendez brother's case? No. I loved it when Mr. Ashton then says.....Didn't get that one?

IIRC he was also involved in Scott P's trial and pizzed that he couldn't be in on the autopsy, I will verify and post in the break room.....crazy old fool, thank God his son so far has not followed his dad's path of cashing in on cases where everyone knows the defendant IS a cold heartless murderer.
