I think Dr. Spitz is having an alzheimer's moment. He can't seem to remember how he was called to this case!

That was quick, Side Bar already.

State not going to let the plodding adlibbing in testimony of this witness. Jeff Ashton has his game face on this Saturday morning.

Quick to the draw for side bar on whether Spitz is going to say that he wanted to be at autopsy.

Maybe he was trying to keep Jose's lies straight.

"THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 2009

Breaking news....Renowned witness, Dr Werner Spitz, was on the stand today and was confronted by DA Alan Jackson regarding how much money he was being paid by Phil Spector. Basically he flipped out on the witness stand, causing Judge Larry Paul Fidler, to ask all parties to remain calm. It was unbelievably scary! Some of the jurors actually looked frightened at the craziness of the witness...ladies and gentlemen...welcome to the Phil Spector Trial....stay tuned for more details!!!!!!!!!!!!"

PS   Caylee was NOT identified yet so he had no standing to witness the autopsy

I think whatever he testifies to better be straight forward and I hope the jury expects/wants to hear something about drowning.  Otherwise, Dr. G's testimony was so straight forward and consistent with common sense I don't think it can be overcome.

I agree...

not sure if Casey is liking this guy being her expert witness or not...she keeps giving sighs...looks sleepy...

I actually think she's huffy because of what happened with Baez! I think she wanted him to question this guy. Just my own take.

Oh dear God, he is having trouble answering the question of how he got involved in the case of Casey Anthony. ARE YOU SERIOUS?

Well remember in one interview he stated that he believed he was involved with this case before Jose Baez was.
