Does anybody know what is being referred to as the "Lighthouse dunes" in the following article and ... where are these dunes located?

ORANJESTAD – During the weekend, work for the search of Natalee Holloway continued in Aruba. From Wednesday, the work for the search intensified with the special group from Holland which came with a total of 11 persons and 2 special dogs to search, and continued over the weekend. Their focus this weekend was around the Lighthouse dunes. But they still haven’t located anything concrete of the Holloway person.

Yes, they are the dunes located near the rocks in the Aru Bay videos.  If I knew how to post it I would show you the pics in another thread on here.  Alas, I am computer challenged.

The girl stepped out of the car and she fell on the ground because she was very drunk. I saw that Joran got out of the car to help the girl. I saw that he held her under her armpits so that she could stand.


the story as to why she was BEATEN up was planned well in advance

Looking at the maps Klaas posted, I can see where somewhere could refer to the California lighthouse as being "behind" the hotel, if they were speaking loosely and didn't literally mean right behind it.

Was this another Horse and Pony Show or ... was there something to it?  Are the sand dunes that are being referred to ... the sand dunes near the Marriot Beach/Fisherman's Hut.  I am so confused.

But it isn't right behind...it is a long way away! You certainly could not walk there.  The lighhouse is at the very tip of the island.

But it isn't right behind...it is a long way away! You certainly could not walk there.  The lighhouse is at the very tip of the island.

the light house is surrounded by desert.  but that is really not "right" behind the Holiday Inn.
