Casey had to have been reading the transcriptions from what went down in chambers.  Maybe that was the reason for her panic moment.

Another thing that makes me so mad, when the prosecution was giving it's case in chief, they had witness upon witness waiting in the hallway.  They had people from LE that needed to be working, just waiting for days and days.  The defense can't have more than 2 at a time?  Why didn't Judge Perry tell them to have a whole roster of witnesses waiting for just this kind of mess?  I know the judge has to make sure Casey gets a fair trial but I am tired of him saying he is going to deal with matters and then never deal with it.  Even a child learns that if a mommy says you better not do that again and they do and nothing happens, they will do it over and over again.  I love Judge Perry but I hope he starts making good each threat he makes.

Good morning Magic Eyes.  Thanks again for volunteering to do a job which must be difficult and which you do so well.

IMO The justice system of this country must be upheld. In order for the people to respect this system, it must be shown to be as Caesar's wife, above reproach.  How can it be when judges make idle threats and tell attorneys, "you'd better not do that again?"  They do it again and are told, "You'd better not do that again." Ad infinitum.
I believe the system is more important than this case or any one case.  In fact, I am coming to the belief that because of what in my opinion is ineffectual counsel, any conviction will be overturned anyway.  I believe it's time for the judge to bite the bullet.  He needs to stop the idle threats and find Baez in contempt, any punishment to be delayed until after the trial. But punishment there should be. I do not think Casey Anthony has received adequate counsel and while she deserves nothing, she is, under our system, entitled to a fair trial with appropriate counsel.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- A judge scolded defense attorneys and prosecutors on Monday during Casey Anthony's murder trial for wasting time as they argued about legal issues and recessed the court until 9:00am Tuesday.

Monday marked day 34, including jury selection, in Casey's trial. She's accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony.

I know the judge has to appear "fair" to both sides but I can't recall one thing that the prosecution has done that would be called "gamesmanship".  They had one whole exhibit excluded and just went along with it and had the witness testify without it.  I do not remember anything, other than a little courtroom bickering between Jeff and Baez.  Can anyone else think of anything that we know of that the prosecution has done to be grouped with the defense, every time the judge gets mad?
