Science Again Takes Forefront In Casey Anthony Trial
Anthony, 25, Could Face Death Penalty If Found Guilty
POSTED: Wednesday, June 22, 2011
UPDATED: 12:08 pm EDT June 22, 2011

Video at link.
ORLANDO, Fla. -- The murder trial of Casey Anthony, who is accused of killing her daughter, Caylee, resumed Wednesday, a day after the defense attacked forensics evidence previously offered by the prosecution.
Judge Belvin Perry said day 25 of the trial will only be a half-day because he has to attend a meeting.

The defense's first witness on Wednesday was Maureen Bottrell, a geologist/forensic examiner with the FBI, where she's worked for 16 years. Bottrell said her main duty is analyzing soil, rocks and gemstones.

In her report from March 4, 2009, Bottrell said she received items from Anthony's car and home, including a shovel and 22 pair of shoes. She also examined soil from the area where Caylee's remains were found.

Bottrell said the shoes could not be scientifically connected to the wooded area where the remains were found. She said under cross-examination, however, that doesn't mean the shoes were not ever worn at the scene.

"they" not "that".   This is what happens to a retired night owl who comes in a 6 AM. Used to do early hours at work, but getting paid for very early hours made the difference vs. now.

The best part of this is being here with the Monkey Family. Thanks

I was really hoping the shoes in this pic could be tied to where the remains were found.

Orlando, Florida - Defense attorneys in the Casey Anthony murder trial want to question convicted felon, Vasco Thompson, who served prison time for kidnapping.

They may get that chance today.

Thompson is scheduled to participate in a deposition at defense attorney Cheney Mason's office in Orlando. The meeting is set up for 1:30 p.m

And we need to know this why?   As if no one else in the world does this?  Can we get reactions that have any significance, is it too much to ask?
I just post the tweets.  I don't write the.  I will stop posting if no one finds any interest in observations from the courtroom.

For clarification:
Capps was commenting on the person making the tweets and not on Northern Rose's posting.  MuffyBee

BUMPING this so it's not missed.

Good afternoon, Monkeys--

Northern Rose, I'm always interested in your observations and in what is going on in the tweeting world as I don't tweet.

Guess he trusted what he heard from Casey was the truth. IMO they manipulated each other for their own gain for her life and his fame, power drive for money.

How can she be destitute when we know she has an IRS tax bill for 68,000 dollars. She's in jail. Was Baez her power of atty. and didn't claim/file correctly? If so another dumb decision.
