BETH HOLLOWAY TWITTY: Oh -- oh, it`s a very critical detail. And the night that we arrived on the island -- you know, Jug does not misinterpret a 4:00 AM time pickup to 11:00 PM. I mean, Paulus Van Der Sloot stated that he picked them up at 4:00 AM on May the 30th. Then -- we don`t know who they were, but then even as far as June 16 and June 17, Mr. Van Der Sloot was still stating this 4:00 AM pickup. Only until around -- maybe it was when he was picked up or arrested did he change it to 11:00 PM that I had knowledge of.

BETH: On June 5th, we asked officials to check to see if there were security cameras, and to this day, nothing has ever been done. No one has looked into it.

Patti - I don't think we ever found out who supplied them to ABC.  If I remember correctly, Posner wasn't happy about the video being aired.

At least I don't know who leaked them  but somebody else might have heard.  I don't think it is the kind of thing a person would admit to doing since they were technically the property of the casino which belongs to Murder Mansion Poster.

But at the time they were first released, the article on ABC called Posner a close family friend of the Sloots, something that was promptly retracted and no longer appears in the article.

  Guess even mobsters have their standards!

Joran will be interviewed on 24 April in the  daily Dutch programme De wereld draait door. This PBS programme is  mainly watched by high educated viewers who are interested in culture, politics and media. It has around 700.000 viewers daily.

Btw  Beth was interviewed last year at Jensen! which is watched by low and middle educated viewers. (same production company).

We have it in writing from a person who was a suspect himself that there was a statement made and that Joran signed it.  I hope when Beth gets access to the files it will be in there.  If not the ALE is withholding evidence.  I also want to know what their excuse will be for not having videos of each statement made.

My guess would be that they would call Joran in to redo the statement.

bleachedblack ... the following quote from Joran's June 14, 2005 suspect statement is referring to when he was interviewed on May 31, 2005 as a witness.  Apparently, in Aruba suspects are allowed to phone others for the answers to the questions presented by interrogators ... something akin to Who Wants to be a Millionaire.

On the way to Bubali police station I called Deepak. I said to Deepak that I was en route to make a statement to the police about the missing girl. Deepaks answer to this was: "Shit". Deepak told me to stick to the story that we had dropped the girl off at the Holiday Inn. I couldn't properly talk to Deepak because my dad was in the car. At approximately 12.30 my dad and me had arrived at Bubali police station. I was interviewed as a witness. I cannot remember that in my statement I had said that I had been at Fisherman's Huts with Natalee. I might be possible that I stated that. During the interview I called Deepak on his mobile. I had asked him what clothes Natalee had been wearing that night. He told me that Natalee was wearing a blue skirt and a blue top. I also said to Deepak that the police would come and pick him to so that he could give a statement. Deepak had told me that he would come to the police station on his own.

At approximately 16.00 pm, we were finished at the police station in Bubali
