I'm not sure but I think it is ego driven.  He may be a well known attorney in his field but seriously, who ever heard of him before this???

Foghorn never found a camera or photo op he didn't love.  I think he took the case for self-aggrandizement.  I think he thought he was going to be the "great savior" of this case and be able to point to his arrival as the turning point of the defense's battle to save poor KC.  I just don't think he realized how bad of an attorney JB really is.

After years of living in this insanity with a disturbed individual, I hope these people are getting some help.

Denial is a rough place to be.

The death of their grand daughter and the hard cold facts of this case are slapping them in the face.  I'd like to believe they have moved away from their grief to a place where they can rationalize what really happened and accept how they either intentionally or inadvertantly assisted with a cover-up of the death of their beloved grand daughter.

If it wasn't for Cindy's determination and love for Caylee, Casey's farce may have continued.  The news media continues to state Casey reported Caylee missing after 31 days- Casey did no such thing.  Cindy called the police and got the ball rolling. 

It's bad enough to deal with the loss of a child, but then it went from a fake kidnapping to murder/victimization of that child, dumping that child like a piece of garbage to rot.  How can they wrap their minds around that in their grief?

Casey fed them a line of crap and they wanted to believe in their daughter.

Any parent would.

I'm glad to see they have progressed and are finally able to see the situation for what it is.  This is a part of the healing process for them.

Casey Anthony's defense team will continue presenting its case when her first-degree murder trial resumes at 9 a.m. today.

It's unclear who the defense will call to testify.

Attorneys spent several hours questioning FBI analysts on Wednesday, before court ended early so Chief Judge Belvin Perry could tend to matters unrelated to the case.

ITA and I'll say again, I would sure hate to be in their shoes,  and despite some of the things they did and said in the immediate aftermath of learning that Caylee was gone, I still empathize with them and hope that they can find peace one day.

Good morning Sunny!!  Unfortunately, I've taken on a project this week that will keep me away from the TV and computer all day until Sunday.  I love coming home in the afternoon and reading the old posts and catching up.  It seems as if the news station are watching a different trial.  I keep seeing reports about one defense witness saying he could find evidence of a dead body in the car.  They don't mention that the carpet had been removed.  You would think someone would get it right.  NG even has begun using "Padillisms".  This is the best place to get the real facts.  You monkeys are the best and I appreciate all of you!!  And I'm not just sucking up!!
