NG   The "State" is the record keeper for Cindy's work records -

Lippman says remember Cindy said she did not search "how to make chloroform".

Interesting -- Lippman is saying she did not search "how to make chloroform". Which begs the question -- "who did"???? Now the State needs to indeed show SOMEONE actually typed that inquiry! IF the State shows those typed words were done during the time Cindy claims she was home -- BOTH CINDY AND casey are screwed!!!

We can only hope.

I for one was very shocked when CA said she did the searches!   You could see the defiance in her voice when she was crossed by LDB.  I heard on HLN that a juror put his/her notepad in front of their mouth as to hide an expression.  But it was also said there was not much reaction from the jury.  I have a sister that hasn't followed this case at all and when she saw CA testify today she said, "Wow you can tell she is lying".  She said the smirk and how she recalled in detail of everything.  Also, when asked if she had searched for Chloroform 84 times CA said I did it a few times so I took that to mean not 84 times.  When asked if she did other searches she said I already answered that for Mr. Baez.  This was all rehearsed and rehearsed.  When CA said she was not working that day Baez said something to the effect what a coincidence you brought that up with his cocky little attitude.  We have your work records.  All REHEARSED!!!!
We have to remember 31 days and no one reported Caylee missing.  The only reason she was reported was due to CA being so controlling and wanted to see her.  Now CA is feeling guilty that her daughter is in jail for murder and my get the death penalty due to that phone call.
I have never felt sorry for them due to their actions from the beginning of all of this.  I hope they all get put in jail.  If they don't get out I hope their lives are a living hell!  Oh and I hope all the dirty attorneys, and witnesses have the same fate as the A's.

If you watch that part of the clip where Linda asks her about her medicine and her memory...it appears Sindy wants to laugh herself...and say...ahhhh...good one!  You remember!!

It was clearly not a laughable moment as LDB was going in for her kill.  Very inappropriate and telling that Sindy was lying.

ITA!  I really despise these people!   I wish I knew why LA had immunity and what GA told the Grand Jury!

Apparently I am not the only one who found her convincing. The analysts agreed as well. Also, it spoke volumes seeing Linda Drane Burdick visibly and vocally upset.

To be clear, your computer can "search" without you actually doing the searching. It feeds off of your cookies and cache, hence spam and popups.  She was not inaccurate with her assertion.

I am not taking up for Casey, if that is how I am coming across. I am looking at this trial from an objective and unbiased stand-point. If I were sitting on that jury I would tell you straight up that the defense established reasonable doubt today.

I think bozo forgot they have a computer specialist on that jury. I can tell you that a computer DOES NOT look things up on it's own from cookies. There was a reason those particular searches had been DELETED and not others.

From reading the tweets from persons in the courtroom it appeared as if none of the jurors even believed her. They said they were NOT taking notes and some were even rolling their eyes at each other. She did not fool those people and she will pay a heavy price for her lies. Much of her testimony today did not match her depositions which if the state chooses, they can prosecute her for not only for perjury if they choose but go back and charge her with obstruction of justice for her past acts after this trial is over.

She will be recalled to testify and I have a feeling it is not going to be pretty, as I am betting that Ashton left while she was lying to get a subpoena for all her records and the office staff there.
There is also a couple nurses on the jury too!     Computers do NOT do searches while no one is at them.

It doesn't "search", per se. What it does is what is called "crawling". Your computer, my computer and every other computer "crawls" the web for similar searches you have made, similar sites you have visited.
But that is NOT the type "search" they are talking about! "Spiders"  have absolutely no resemblence to "hard" search engine searches. Not even remotely related.

When our computers crawl they could be interpreted as searches. Maybe I am not explaining myself correctly and unless you have worked in this field, you wouldn't understand.

I haven't worked in this field.  Please explain how the computer typed in "how to make chloroform" on its own.  Did it crawl across the keyboard.  This is beginning to look like a Baez cross.

Hmmm she calls Cindy?  Wonder where she called Cindy at?

Have not found chlorophyll searches yet.  I will keep looking.  I noticed that call to Cindy as well.  Will need to go into the phone records to find out.  Does someone have a list handy of what Rosebud said on the stand she searched for and what she denied were her searches?

Don't know if anyone has said this as I went from my phone at 5pm to now and wanted to let you know that the State need go no further than Gentiva!  I worked there for 4 years and Cindy held an office position and let me tell you she told some whopper lies besides looking up chloroform sp?!!  Everyday there is a meeting and a sign in sheet, any chart, nurse she advised, conversation she had in re ANY pt, will be in that nurses notes and in the chart.  Any memo/email she generated or answered is kept!  If she reviewed a chart her initials are there, if she recieved a doctors order-she signed it.  What they will not allow you to do is claim you are at work and get paid for it.  If you leave that office (unless an emergency) a superior must rec your request and sign off on it, salaried or not.  I was salaried and in the field but definately allowed overtime but to take time off even if on the spur of the moment you must fill out a request that goes to payroll and in your chart!!!! If she was in the office she was logged in on her computer with her password and will be accounted for.  District Gentiva offices/and corp can pull records from all locations! Basically what I'm saying is I'm sure she had enemies at work and her goose is cooked!  Stick a fork in the beeotch cuz she's done!!!!!!!

they are saying on NG that no prosecutor would go after her for what she testified to on the stand.  That irritates me, just because she is grieving does not mean she is above the law.  If she perjured herself, I think they should go after her for it.
I am not so sure.. LDB went after her about the selective memory due to 'medication'..
That was a shot across the bow of what may come
Cindy first brought up being medicated in her initial testimony, it's mentioned briefly here http://www.baynews9.com/article/news/2011/may/254277/ but an actual transcript of her testimony would be better.  My recall (though often faulty) is that she mentioned it more than once.

She mentioned it back then to direct attention from Casey.  She lied then too!!
I am way behind, but I am beginning to think the only difference between Cindy and Casey is that Cindy didn't kill her daughter.  Yet.

Strawberry what makes you think it was an accident?  You think accidental overdose? I haven't seen anything in caseys actions that lead me to believe it was accidental although could ultimately end in same sentence regardless

The drowning is entirely plausible, minus the accusation that George was a witness. Perhaps Casey was napping and Caylee wondered outside into the pool? Casey woke up, panicked because she knew that by her not being attentive that would result in charges for her death. I'm not real sure what I believe happened. Or, then there is the more popular opinion that she drugged Caylee so that she could party. Honestly, though, as narcissistic and sociopathic as she is, I just don't see her being brave enough to risk someone finding Caylee while she was gone. I have never believed the chloroform story because the evidence is inconclusive and sketchy, number one. And number two, Casey comes across as intelligent, but she clearly isn't that smart. She certainly isn't brave enough, imo, to risk associating herself with chloroform.
I don't think that if Caylee died due to a drowning accident (which I don't believe) that it would get her the death penalty.  She would have gotten in some trouble and possibly involuntary manslaughter/child endangerment.

If I hear one more talking head explain how much of a poor victim Cindy is I might throw up.  I don't think lying to save the murderer of your grandaughter is okay even if it is your daughter that killed her!

My gut just wouldn't let me feel sorry for the parents no matter how much the talking heads have said they do.
I guess I just have not been able to feel I could trust what they say or do. Agree with you.

In my view--any/all adults residing in the Anthony home on Hopespring were responsible for Caylee's care and well-being at all times after she arrived there from the hospital after her birth.  CinCin is particularly and definitely included.  Caylee's care should have been the top priority of these adults at all times-- 24/7.  Anything less was simply dereliction of duty.  And look what happened.... They are all responsible, in my view.

maybe Cindy really did the murder...she was the one looking up chloroform by her own words..she had access to all the items that were in the home that were found with Caylee..She was the one who was with Caylee swimming after they got back from seeing Cindy's dad..Caylee could have been murdered by Cindy that night...Casey was already out partying without a care in the world cause mom said, just go out and have a good time...Caylee can stay with me. blah blah blah...Wonder why Casey Ho didn't spin this tale along with the other tales about George...   sounds about as good as the defense's theory now...

Funny you should say this---my very first impression/opinion three years ago of CinCin on TV when this story broke on Nancy Grace [ I think ], was that it she who was the guilty party...

Sorry, respectfully disagree. Computers DO search on their own from cache and cookies.

They don't do google searches on their own

They definitely do not type into google search "how to make chloroform" and "chloroform habit" all by themselves.  This is simply stupid.  Computer experts know the difference between what your computer automatically does and what a person sitting at a computer did.

That's only possible IF the cache & history weren't deleted on a consistent basis. That's how anybody that can read can figure out who was doing the searches. George & Cindy never cleaned & deleted ANY history...however...CASEY DELETED HER HISTORY ON A DAILY CONSISTENT BASIS.

I'm not shouting but I want people to remember...Casey covered her ass on a daily basis.

Unless you uninstall the Windows Search, Google Search, Yahoo, so on and so forth.  That is the first thing I uninstall on all office computers.  It slows down the machine and it really does search the web.

Another thing, about Cindy's emails, they are still intact.  Once a person goes on medical leave their machine is left intact and backed up.  Her computer is moved to stock and backed up and then probably the computer is used for other people.  BUT only after the entire hard drive is backed up.  New law passed about 3-4 years ago that all HR are required to back up the entire contents of the hard drive on employees on leave, terminated, quit---just in case any evidence is needed against a lawsuit.  Also, their user account is disabled---the password is changed immediately to prevent others or them from accessing the computer.  Believe me, lawsuits occur and especially people who are on medical leave and who have been terminated.

All I know is I think any chloroform research that Cindy did (if true) is what gave Casey the idea. Cindy saying she did a few searches for chloroform doesn't explain the other 80 some searches that were done

I am sure you are correct.  What Cindy described is a total violation of even basic Wage and Hour laws and the company she worked for could be sued for any overtime regardless if logged or not.  Every employer should know this and is liable for any violation like false records even if they only have one employee.

A big company like that is going to have massive legal input and just wouldn't take the chance of a massive employee suit against them.

No disrespect, but you just solved your own mystery. Casey deleted, C&G did not. Cindy is the one claiming to have made the searches.

Me too..would love to know what he said.  IMO they are keeping it sealed as long as they can...but are ready to use it as a hammer against him if he up & lies.

Lee was given 'use' immunity (as in all witnesses that are subpoenaed).  Which means that they can't use what they say against them.  But if they can develop other evidence about the crime they can.

http://bankruptcy.lawyers.com/glossary/use-immunity.html
(even though this link says bankruptcy...it has nothing to do with this..lol)

: immunity granted to a witness in a criminal case that prevents the use of the witness's compelled testimony against that witness in a criminal prosecution
Transactional and use immunity are granted to preserve the constitutional protection against self-incrimination. The states grant either form of this immunity, while the federal government grants only use immunity. A witness with use immunity may still be prosecuted, but only based on evidence not gathered from the protected testimony.
2  : a usu. statutory prohibition that excludes specific documents or information from discovery

Hmmm she calls Cindy?  Wonder where she called Cindy at?

Have not found chlorophyll searches yet.  I will keep looking.  I noticed that call to Cindy as well.  Will need to go into the phone records to find out.  Does someone have a list handy of what Rosebud said on the stand she searched for and what she denied were her searches?

phone call - interesting - love to know what Cindy's phone records say where she was at that time with her phone

Cindy said she looked up chlorophyll
looked for chloroform - spelled incorrectly with an "a" - maybe it was chloraform
looked up alcohol
looked up acetone
looked up peroxcide

Said she did not key in search string "how to make chloroform"
Did not search household weapons
Did not search shovel

Did not do search for neck-breaking - but there was a pop-up of skateboarder

Weren't these searches found in the deleted aliquots or whatever they called it?  So somebody deleted them?
