Is it because he lied, or because he didn't have permission to testify? I don't understand..

When you are employed by the US military, and DOD is the military, then you are forbidden from owning a business, or another employer, no moonlighting at all!  Rodriquiz had to have known this, these DOD contracts are extremely strict...

YES. The good Dr. was not making such a comment for any altruistic reasons.

Although, if he had ever been allowed to, he would have been ruined. For some one who has been in the military like Dr. R. I find it amazing he never got permission to testify from DoD. What's up with that? he had to have known it was the process.

The timing in regards to the exposure of Rodriguez embellishment of his credentials is very suspicious.

According to JP's clarification of why Rod returned home ... it was Baez that allowed him to depart citing that he did not want Rod to lose it job and another witness was qualified to testify.  JP stated that without Baez's approval he could could have detained Rod and ... prevented him from leaving.

2) Surely, at the very least, she will be found guilty on all counts of giving false info to the police. How much time does that carry?
