ORLANDO -- 
Jose Baez said Casey Anthony's defense could rest in a matter of days.

When prompted by Judge Belvin Perry for an estimate Friday afternoon, Baez said he expected to wrap up his case by Wednesday or Thursday, June 29 or 30.

The murder trial against Casey would be in the middle of its sixth week by then. Judge Perry had told jurors he expected the trial to last six to eight weeks.

The A's lived in that house since ICA was a toddler/baby.  We need to match the furniture that is in that picture vs furniture w/Caylee in the picture.  That cannot be Caylee IMO.

The way I read this, even if premeditation is not proven, if you believe that ICA was drugging or putting  Caylee to sleep with chloroform and she accidentally died, she could still be convicted of 1st Degree murder.

Ok talked with my mommy & me friend about George's Sister...again, don't know if it's true just repeating what was told to me

"Marge" (that's what we call her) used to be her friend until the sister asked her if she thought the affair rumors were true & she said yes that he had hit on her years before.  Apparently George's sister's husband is a big sleazeball

Casey was seeing a married marine & his wife threatened to sue her for alienation of affection (still haven't looked that up sorry) if she didn't stop - that is supposedly the father

Casey used to FLIRT with her husband and her son (I guess Casey's uncle & her first cousin) so they stopped "visiting"

No one in the family liked Cindy & never has AND she thought at one time Cindy had a drinking problem

A ring went missing on a visit (don't know if they visited florida or if the Ants came to OH)

I feel kind of bad posting this because "Marge" who my friend has seen a couple of times now, asked her not to say anything (she asked me too when I talked to her).  Since I'm not using real names other than the anthony family I hope that's not too immoral

I will NOT be missing next weeks museum playdate!

I HATE to even ask.....but missed the entire day and will be up until 4am trying to catch uo, but what in the hell is jak-a-hole talking about? The DOD and witness tampering? I hate she is now a talking head on HLN (of course she lost all credibilty first case I watched her in which was PS), and I never thought she could dig her hole any deeper as being bat shit off the rails but obviously I was wrong. Anybody got  abrief rundown of the crazy allegation ........

Casey Anthony trial: Baez expects to wrap up by Thursday

A defense attorney for Casey Anthony just told Chief Judge Belvin Perry that he expects to rest his case by Thursday, meaning jurors can expect another five days of defense strategy.

State prosecutors estimated they need another one or two days after that to respond to what the defense has presented.

Perry said he expects to issue an order next week about "basic parameters" of the process to bring this case to a close.


Defense testimony will continue for a full day Saturday, resume Monday and continue through Thursday.

Defense Attorney Jose Baez accused state prosecutors or investigators of improperly withholding information – an alleged discovery violation.

Baez said Detective Yuri Melich testified he obtained Anthony family phone records from June to December 2008

But Baez said he only had two weeks of phone records.

"We don't have the rest,'' Baez said.

State prosecutor Linda Drane Burdick said she will ask Melich about what Baez said is missing.

She was unaware of any intentional discovery violations.

So did anyone else notice when JA slammed the papers down in front of JB at the end of the day, LDB went over and was talking to CM and it looked like she was giving him whatfor!!  Sims looked kind of surprised.  This was just before ICA was taken out (I think).  Anyway, it made me wonder what the heck LDB was saying, I thought she walked away pizzed.

Reading the charges somebody posted, think it was Turbo, I was confused.

In most cases I have seen (admit not many) both the state and defense usually have issues with more than one verdict being available.  For instance, I thought i remembered for Scott Peterson' trial them arguing about wanthing the only verdict available to be Murder 1. 

I am concerned if too many choices are given to the jury, a. this will confuse them, b.  they will chose a lesser one. 

It looks like a laundry list to me.  Why not just put oh jaywalking on there too.  Is anybody else bothered by this?  This was a 1st degree murder trial, IMO, that should be their only choice.  No?

Wonder how old the little girl is that Cindy was babysitting?  She was playing in Caylee's room when Cindy took the person in there that was interviewing her.

I was conversing with my hubby's sister a couple of hours ago.  She has been responsible for keeping the books for two Toyota dealerships in Vancouver.  I asked her about the manpulation of time sheets.  Although she cannot affirm that it does not happen ... it is not legal.  One of the reasons she cited mirrors the happenings in the Casey Anthony case.  The time sheets may be subpoenaed to be used as evidence in a court of law which implies the info documented must be accurate.

If Cindy is revealing the truth regarding the manipulation of time sheets at her place of employment ... could it be that the company/supervisor may be facing legal action.
