Sorry Caylee, the jury took your day away.

Something more than one talking head has brought up on TV is they are concerned the state has not proved motive and in a death penalty case, it requires a motive. I thought it did not require a motive (in this state it doesn't) and I don't know if the talking heads are just talking out of her butts or not. Does anyone know if they have to prove motive in Florida?

I have felt the weak link in the case was the motive but I didn't realize it had to be proved. I felt since the state did not bring up the continuous power struggle between KC & Cindy or the fights the jury could not get a good picture of why KC would do it. They also did not get in the testimony of Tony about him not wanting a girl as a kid.

I don't think they have to prove motive either, but they did to me.  The motive for me is Bella Vita.

Does this look like the dress the child opening the door was wearing?

the straps of the dress in the picture looks to have flowers on them.  This one has solid straps.

Caylee looks sick in that picture.. maybe the flu?

Probably too much tagging along while KC 'works'.  What do you think?  Could this be the dress?

Need to see the back of the dress.
Wishful thinking...not going to happen.
Tks.....

The more I think about it, the more I'm not so sure that the tag team of Cindy/Lee made the kind of impression on the jurors that was the desired result.

Another thing, that photo we've been looking at all day, "IF" that is KC and not Caylee....George would know that....could that be the reason he got into the elevator and turned is face to the wall and stood there while the elevator traveled down 23 floors?

I think you are correct.  I was hoping that one of the media companies would have today's photos out by now.  It looked really poor quality and I'd like to know if that was from the original or from tv monitors.  I'd also like to know if Bozo claimed it had a digital date.

Pray tell, you rode down the elevator with George?

I think I need a break, here, I am still stuck on that damn picture....

It just doesn't look right to me either.

Me either---I do not think it's really her.
Nor do I. Plus I am a large grown adult and have a hard time getting my sliding glass door open, much less a child doing it. I have to use two hands, that child is using one. It almost seems staged like someone opened the door and told the girl to try and open it a bit more.

It looked to me like she was closing it from the way her left arm is.

Look at the size of Caylee's arm compared to her greatgrandpa's hand.  It isn't that long at all.  And we know for a fact that this pic was made on Sunday before she was murdered.

They walked greta around the yard, the playhouse and pool, they sat in the LR with her and chatted..

I remember that interview, so well. It really brought out the real Anthony's. George & Cindy smiled at each other and told Greta in unison.... "and that's when we knew Casey stole the gas cans!" They actually smiled about it! Like a very big caper had been solved... and now it was a hysterical family story to be told & re-told for the ages.

I thought "Beldar" was going to come out from around the corner to play a game of "ring toss". The Anthony's come from a different planet.

i think i heard what you heard.  i have NEVER heard motive is a required element to prove, even in a death penalty case.  I think maybe what they meant was intent for the premeditation to have been formed. They did say motive though but I think they misspoke.

you remember the part when George says I opened the trunk .... and Cindy chimes in before George can speak and says and you saw the gas cans.  I wonder what George smelled that day.

I'm having a Leonard Padilla moment. Pretend I'm waving my index finger at you.
My theory is this: If Caylee drowned, it was after Casey placed her unconscious (after a dose of chloroform) body in the pool. I think she then planned on calling George and Cindy in a panic to tell them she couldn't find Caylee, but they didn't answer her calls. On to plan B. She leaves the pool ladder up, just in case she has to use the drowning story in case Caylee's body is discovered by George or Cindy. She places the body somewhere in the back yard at first, then puts it in her car. On June 24th, George finds Caylee's body in Casey's car and she tells him the sob story about Caylee drowning and how frightened she is and it's too late to go to the police. Perhaps she tells George something, maybe about drugs or chloroform in Caylee's system that would go against her if the body was autopsied. George agrees to go along with her kidnapping story and does dump the body. This is why Casey feels she has George where she wants him, because there is a half truth in there. She, Baez, and George, know that he helped dispose of the body, abandon her car at Amscot, and cover for her, but now Casey and Bozo are having a hard time proving it without telling the truth and nothing but the truth, since George is as good a liar as Casey. Which leaves Casey still on death row.

George just gave too many details about the events on the 24th. It reeked of a sociopathic "laying of groundwork." I believe he and Casey are birds of a feather. Cindy is a codependent, enabling liar, whose purpose in life is to protect her sick family. She is just as bad as they are in her own way.

Done for now.

Scatty, what did you mean about the events of the 24th? I followed you well until that date..what month, what year?
tia

June 24, 2008. The same day he attributed to seeing Casey at the house, their fight over the gas cans, etc.

Gotcha.  Thanks. I remember those discrepancies well.

When I first saw this picture and still now, to me Caylee looks frightened, worried.

Not of her great grand dad or whoever is taking the picture.

Have You ever seen Caylee in these sneakers   NO IMO because this is Casey

Look at the size of that electric outlet on the wall to her right. A tad large, don't you think?
Living room.  Outlet is in the correct place.  I have however, yet to find any images of Caylee wearing those shoes.  As a matter of fact, she is usually barefoot.

Take a look at the carpet in the top picture: behind the right foot and between the tile and the black cabinet.

Compare that to the carpet in the 2nd picture.

The top carpet looks more like a "taupe" color and the bottom carpet looks more like a "cream".

Even if the color is "just off", then look at the top carpet - it looks like it has a pattern to it and the bottom carpet doesn't.

Does anyone else see that or is it just me?
