a florida jury convicted a woman of first degree murder who's 7 year old daughter was in the pool.  this mom called 911 even to say the child drowned but what had really happened is the mom held her head under the water.  she was still found guilty of first degree murder.  im not concerned at all, casey is going to fry.  i will try to find the name of that case i just referred too

CORAL GABLES (LALATE) – The Cindy Anthony testimony you heard today in the Casey Anthony trial was not a change from her deposition, claimed Anthony attorney Mark Lippman. The Cindy Anthony testimony today about chloroform, how to make chloroform, and stains inside the Pontiac Sunfire was quickly dubbed “bombshell” testimony”, “changing testimony”, and a shocker by news. But Lippman tonight told news that Cindy Anthony’s testimony today at trial was the same that she gave in her deposition in 2009.

Cindy Anthony was called by Jose Baez on his defense case-in-chief Thursday. Baez initially asked Cindy Anthony about her work timesheets, then about the Pontiac Sunfire, and finally about her online searches.

Cindy Anthony first said that her timesheets are not a far indication if she was or wasn’t at home on March 17 or March 21. Rather, she said that her employer prohibited overtime hours so often she would have to accountant for her hours by listing extra days.

The State seemed shocked by Cindy’s assertion that she was home that day. Lippman implied the State was acting up for the jury. Why? He says that they asked Cindy in her depo about her search activities online at home those two days. He said they didn’t rule out her being at home, and even asked her about questions presuming she was at home and the work logs were inaccurate. ::snipping2::

Yes he was the only eye witness and changed his story, she lost an appeal to after the boy said that isn't what happen or changed his story that that was not what happen..IIRC

I am furious (can't sau anymore without getting banned), but wouldn't the State have her cell phone pings and records from that day? I would dig up absolutely everything I could from her work emails, co-workers, pings etc and impeach her......sadly they can't run the mack truck over her likeJeff is so capable of in cross because the jury might see that in a bad light.

That being said, I would think any juror with a lick of common sense knows that when your mom or hubbie, wife, GF is your alibi or testifies on your behalf, well they are less than credible since they will do anything to make it appear that their evil spawn isn't "that" evil.....

Yes, but I don't think they were expecting any of this, she has never said any of htis or taken blame or said she left work early.  They had her testimony and she just said she remembers clearer now, so they have to prove it other ways.  Her work time card says she worked 10 houras that day.  She says she left early.  So, they have to get the people at her work to come in and say she did not leave early, etc.  Get her emails.

I can't believe I believed and felt sorry for CA after she testified for the State. I feel like a fool. 

I feel the same.  But now, "fool me once, shame on..."  Never again.  I will never believe anything an Anthony says, even as Judge Christina Milian would say, "if their tongue came notarized"!

i think the best stuff the defense has will come from the wacko family.  However, as weird as they are and as much as they may try to help Casey, unless George admits to the molestation and drowning I don't think it will help.  it may make more work to muddle through during deliberations but not ultimately help.
