for people like me, who had only seen Cindy & George initially when Caylee was "missing" and didn't follow any of the court proceedings - the Cindy on the stand for the prosecution was really the Cindy we "knew".  When I first joined there was so much animosity towards her I knew there had to be more than I was seeing so I spent some time and went back & watched the depositions, interviews etc...............then I understood.

She really had the "general" public's sympathy up until yesterday.  Now the whole world pretty much has seen her like all the smart monkeys have for YEARS.  As long as it doesn't hurt the state's case I'm actually glad she showed her true colors.  The rest of her miserable life will be full of dirty looks, snide remarks and hopefully low book sales!

Hubby said cindy sucks at lying as does her daughter, but he's wondering if that chlorophyll crap was something kc said to explain the searches to her mom..."oh hell, I was typing in chlorophyll and it tried to spell out chloroform instead. you know how google thinks you mean something else if you spell something wrong? Here let me show you Mom. See?"

I felt sorry for this woman at the beginning of trial. I'm ticked off. I thought she had finally come to terms and was there for Caylee. I still have a shred of hope that GA maybe is.

I slept maybe 4 hrs last night tossing and turning

being screwed by the likes of Cindy. I hope you all have read Blink's article last nite. It ain't
over till the fat lady sings. I have a lot of faith in the state and they are not stupid.

Mary, I agree. I think CA screwed herself big time!!

Can you imagine - they're probably out for blood.  Sadly I think, unlike most instances, they probably HELPED her get Worker's Compensation.  She tarnished their image in front of millions of people.  NO business would sit back without trying to clear its name!

I asked yesterday but things were moving so fast..if anyone answered I missed it.....I had workmen here yesterday and missed CA saying something about the check fraud...will someone give me the 1-2-3 on it please!  TIA

Cindy was telling Linda when the 1st time she knew about the "chloroform searches"......she said it was right before KC was arrested for "check charges", sometime around September. Yuri Melich told Cindy at that time about the chloroform searches found on their computer.
That's the only mention of KC's check charges that I recall yesterday.

Los Angeles, Calif. - On Thursday, Beth Holloway, the mother of missing Alabama teen Natalee Holloway, compared the behavior of the man she believes killed her daughter, Joran van der Sloot and Casey Anthony, who's currently on trial for killing her toddler daughter, Caylee Anthony.

Casey, 25, is accused of murdering Caylee, 2, in the summer of 2008 using chloroform and duct tape.

Natalee, 18, was visiting Aruba in 2005 with her high school graduating class when she vanished after leaving a nightclub with van der Sloot.

“If Casey Anthony is the queen of all liars, then Joran van der Sloot... is without a doubt the king. He is believed to have killed Natalee Holloway...” noted HLN TV host Dr. Drew Pinsky.

Pinsky welcomed Beth to his show to discuss the similarities between Casey and van der Sloot.

“...both of them had the litany of lies – you know... from both of them. Something that I think is even more so striking is this mode of operation from the two,” said Beth.

She noted van der Sloot's story about Natalee's disappearance began similar to Casey's stories about Caylee, saying, the Dutchman initially said “Oh, I left her at the beach. She’s fine. No involvement. She’s alive,” and that Casey said in the beginning she had left Caylee “...with the nanny, she’s fine.”

We all get worked up on the Defense team's crazy witness side show. Today's "revelations" of Cindy's testimony is just another page from "Bizzaro World". If these crazy "revelations" were true -- we would all say - "wow! benefit of the doubt!" Don't forget, the Prosecution will address EVERYTHING  in the rebuttal. The rebuttal AND closing arguments will be so devestating to the Defense that it will be a joke. I'm not worried about "Farmville Lady" at all. This case is is absolutely over. The Defense knows it -- they will now do ANYTHING  for a mistrial. IMO -- the State of Florida will save time and money if she gets LWOP. A death sentence (though she deserves it) will give her the same "time" served but she will live in better conditions.

Good morning, all Monkeys!    So nice to see everyone and hear what your take on yesterday's lies from Cindy!  I can't believe I had to miss most of it!  Grrr.
Here's my big question...Is there any evidence that chlorophyl was ever looked up?  I know chloroform, (spelled two ways,) and how to make it was proven, but if chlorophyl was not, why not just say so?  This is bothering me.  Any answers?

No and I did quite a bit of searching last night and couldn't come up with anything.  that's why I think LDB was completely blind sided yesterday. Had she not been she would have been prepared to produce recording proving that CA was lying.  Bet she has them this morning though   I hope rebuttal is BRUTAL!!!!

sunny was this to keep river from testifying.. did they take her place. I know that river is fragile emotionaly and many believe she and george never were! we had spoken to skye on myspace and were told different way back. Could this of been a ploy.?

Morning loca, I still think they will call river....but later on when/if they try to push the abuse......and I  have no idea if they have dropped that and are now just trying to punch holes in the state case or not.

Rest assured, the defense is discussing doing a surprise close, knowing they likely will not reach such a high again. Risky, yes. Impractical, not really. This would also give the State little time for rebuttal preparation. Don't think they will but don't rule it out.
