Reading through this thread literally made my head spin.  All this talk of photos, shoes, the abrupt recess...it's bananas!  This case has now surpassed the OJ case when it comes to absurdity.

The only thing I find just a wee bit bizarre is who takes a pic of a kid opening a door? I understand we take pics of kids, especially toddlers, but opening a door? Just seems odd. Then again, we are talking about the Anthony's. Nuff Said.

That doesn't seem odd to me, as my mother took pics of all us kids opening the front door on our first day of school.  In this case, if it is Caylee, someone may have wanted to snap her pic before she went outside, but she turned away from them just as the pic was snapped.  Just a theory.

Why can't JP hold Mason and Sims as accountable for this mess?  They are paid members of the defense.  I think it's bs that Baez gets all the blame while those two idiots just sit there.   As part of the team, they should be told to step up and take over or face punishment. 

I do not know for sure, but I swear Mason is probono, and it is all Bozo's fault, this is his defense, he made this crap up.  I bet Mason would have advised a plea deal.  Simms is just a baby sitter.

OK--I admit it.  I'm addicted to this.  I should be kidnapped and deprogrammed.

Mr. NeJames' conclusion is based on an incorrect premise.  He said that it wouldn't be anything about the jury because the court report left.  But she didn't.  The very last thing the judge said was "Madam Court Reporter, we got somethin' to do."  He got up and walked in the direction of the jury room and she followed him with her machine. It wasn't possible to see exactly where they went because of the camera angle, but it was in that direction.

IMO it has something to do with the jury and it must be quite serious.

Whenever th ejUdge speaks with the jury outside of the courtroom he always has the court reporter go with him to make sure ii is part of the offical court record.  He was leaving to tell the jury that court for today was over.

I still think this is just like Monday..Baez didn't want to call another witness out of order in his scheme of things and Jeff wasn't going to go along with yet another expert witness for the defense discussing facts or evidence he hadn't been deposed to discuss.

We saw this last Monday..and we heard JP say this is happening again 9 in so many words) to the defense.

If Mason steps down no biggie..Finnel will just be sitting in his chair Monday or later in the week.

I really believe that this is all about Baez being stubborn in not properly desposing witnesses..getting them to testify to things they didn't in their reports and previous depos....and his refusal to go ahead with other witnesses that are there..because it would disrupt his own disruptive flow.....there is a method to this madness.  And it is going to get him sanctioned big time once this trial ends.

This morning there was a reference to a Richardson hearing that would take place as it seems that Jose Baez and the Casey Anthony Defense team once again broke Judge Perry’s court order on evidence discovery. This only makes the third time since they have started their defense portion of the trial. However, yesterday during direct examine of Sgt. Ryan Eberlin of the OCSD Cheney Mason made a gaffe of all gaffes in asking whether Casey Anthony had been handcuffed, see VIDEO above. That opened the door for the State to ask Sgt. Eberlin why he had handcuffed Casey. he then told the jury that it was Cindy Anthony who said she wanted her daughter arrested and press charges for stealing her credit card and its unauthorized use. Oops, major gaffe on the part of the Defense.

Who were the witnesses scheduled for today?  William Rip Torn Rodriguez was officially dropped as a witness, right?  So maybe this has to do with the contact Jeff Ashton had with the Department of Defense (which the duhfense pointed out) and the prosecution has retaliated by dishing up some dirt on Baez or Mason?  It's a stretch, but at this point anything is possible.

I took a lot of pics of my kids as well, but if I had taken that picture...there would have been one either before or after it that showed their face.  Maybe there is, and it was provided to the prosecution and that's why there's not a question.

I haven't followed every detail of Caylee's case as some have, but I know enough about the lies and misrepresentations involved in it to truly believe that questioning anything provided by the Anthony's is not absurd.

Hey Klaas! I almost felt bad for Lee when I heard him break down on the stand...then I decided to check his profile. I see he's upgraded to Kinect for his 360. Looks like he plays ALOT. Hmmm, maybe it takes his mind off of Caylee. Is that how he is able to get through this? By playing games? Some of which is blood & guts KNOWING Caylee had no organs meat or skin left TO HOLD IN her blood & guts? Pardon me but wth!

wow leonard padilla is saying that he thinks the reason court ended had to do with roy kronk and something that could get baez in trouble and that mason wanted to bring it to the judges attention..interesting

Regarding today's abrupt halt to the trial, all we know now is that apparently we were wrong to speculate about a plea deal, Kronk's cell phone records, and issues surrounding defense witness William Rodriguez. The attorneys are hoping for a quick resolution of whatever this mysterious issue is. The trial should continue on Monday.
