To add ... if Caylee were trying to actually go outside in that photo ... her body would be sideways ... putting all her little body weight trying to push that door.  No child at that age (and even older) can open a sliding glass door with just arm strength.  she would have wedged her body in that small opening and pushed her arms against the door and her butt against the door frame if she were trying to get that door opened!  IM very humble O.

You know I've been saying that for days UNTIL last night.  My 2 1/2 yr old "OPENED" our sliding glass door (goes into our sunroom) all by herself and with just her hands.  Our house is about 17 years old & the slider is original so maybe that's why but she sure did it!  I was taking her pic and wham - open.

OK.  Then I take it back!  I'd think an older door would even be harder to open ... what with wear and tear and house settling (nothing remaining in square).  My bad   

No I was the same way you are.  I was actually taking a picture of her to compare to the "Caylee" photo - how ironic is that!  We put the cats in the sunroom when we eat and today after lunch I unlocked the door for her and she did it again.  I am still shocked.  Now, she is off the growth chart in height & weight & could probably lift a car but at 2 1/2 (almost 2 1/2) she can open the sliding door.  shocked shocked & more shocked

No on the sleeping issue for me too!  All weekend!  (Ok, Relay for Life was day one ... but catching up on this trial kept me awake last night!)

And on FOX they said it was Simms who went to that depo ... but with media ... who knows who to believe ...

klaas - it took me a couple times ... but at 4.24 - Caylee has on white and pink heart pjs - there could be (not saying it's so as I'm still unsure if it's pic distortion) a silver (ish) certainly not pink or red - heart sticker right between her eyes above the nose ???  See what you think?

I don't even see how ANY of this major BS about the baby shower is relevant to the defense. So friggen what if Lee wasn't invited? So friggen what if the baby was early? How does any of this advance their theory?
For sure in the anthony/baez braintrust they think there's some big dramatic revelation....well, other than maybe being yet another lie, I do not see their point.  We know almost every detail of the case and I, for the life of me, can't figure out what they think the jury will take from it.

Seems like by now they would all get a clue that the crap that tumbles out of their mouths doesn't just make it fact, the SAO and LE will confirm or deny. This constant lying by the Ants should be dealt with, their shield of "grieving grandparents" has gone past the use-by date. On principle alone they should be charged with perjury and lying to police.

Amen Mizjay!  I thought the only relevent "testimony" the defense was looking for from Lee was his "over the top" crying!  They need the jury to know that the family doesn't want Casey punished no matter what she did!  Ugh!

If whorealdo was giving us all the 'splanation of what was really supposed to go down...that somehow he was ostracized cause his mother thought he could be babydaddy....it didn't happen..then why not have motormouth cindy get up there and tell the story? I heard Padilla's "theory" for the first time last night on Jeanine Piro (seriously couldn't believe she had him on ... come on Jeanine!)  ... but the whole LE secretly bugged a meeting between Byass and Casey and found out where the body was .... LUDICROUS LEONARD!!

If that had happened ... all LE had to do was say ... we decided we hadn't searched thoroughly enough in that area and decided to search again and bingo we found Caylee!  They never would have involved two completely uninvolved people who they knew could given them up in the end!  Duh!  Leonard is as delusional as I always thought!   

I think Padilla just throws stuff out there to see what sticks. If he can keep people talking, then he can remain in the limelight. Dude's out for a reality show.

For some reason I do not buy the fact that it will be glossed over come Monday and I do not buy the fact that it does not impact the defense. I do not think Casey would have been as animated as she was coming in and out of the court room. It was also a bit suspect that Mason just made the request to approach the sidebar out of the clear blue.

Just my bet (which usually isn't worth much) but my bet is Mason is taking himself off.  They would have had to stop proceedings until Finnell could show up since (as I recall?) she is the only other DP qualified attorney on the team.  I hope we get an answer tomorrow!

I think Mason wanted to bring up the fact that Geraldo is saying he & Baez had lunch & Bobo said Lee & Casey had a consensual affair.  Bozo didn't want to bring it up because he would get in trouble discussing the case with the media (though he trusted Geraldo - being the idiot he is - didn't he realize his track record?)  Mason pondered on it and out of the blue decided he didn't want to end his lengthy career being associated with the "leak" & telling the court.  Just my non legal opinion!  My degree is in social work so I'm probably reading too much into it LOL

Remember it was LEE who wanted Casey to speak in code and this was when CAYLEE WAS STILL THOUGHT TO BE MISSING.

Does anyone remember LP (yeah, I know, not the most credible card in the deck, but) said that when they had first bailed ICA out, that a request was made that George, Cindy, and Lee give DNA samples.  George and Cindy agreed, but then Lee came out the the trailer that Padilla's crew was staying in outside of the house, and said that no one would be providing a sample.  It took a court order for him to finally submit his.  Why would he resist this normal request in a missing child case? 

Oh I remember that now---good question.
