Looking at this logically, I think it is some kind of accusation against the State. It was something Mason said to the judge which provoked it and I don't think Mason would rat out his own side, although by law he would be required to do so.  While I never thought the judge would back up his order of all day on Saturday, I don't think this was just a ploy to close up shop.  It seems that court was planned to be in session until 3:00 or 3:30, not the full day the judge decreed, but longer than previous Saturdays and the judge planned to at least back up this threat somewhat. In the past he has made threats but failed to carry them out.

So, IMO, it is serious and it has to do with something the State has done.  I have the utmost respect for Ashton, Drane-Burdick and George, so if I am right, I am sure if they have done something which caused this, it would have been done inadvertantly and innocently.

But like everyone else here, I just don't know.  I hope I'm wrong.

Also, I do not believe that picture to be genuine.  If it is Caylee and it has been stretched, there could be only one purpose for having done so and that would be illegal.  However, I don't think it's Caylee.  I think it is another child entirely and set up specifically to mislead the jury,  or that it is an early picture of Casey.  As another poster said, what would be the purpose of taking a picture from behind of a child opening a sliding glass door?  No innocent reason, IMO. The purpose for entering this picture as evidence seems to be to demonstrate that Caylee could open the door and therefore cast doubt on the State's theory and reinforce the idea that she drowned in the pool by accident.

Before I leave for the day, I also want to say that Linda Kenney Baden is an idiot. I think when they did all that liposuction, they vacuumed out part of her brain.

AND she's accusing the judge of not giving the lawyers enough time ...   they have had THREE YEARS... and Baez is the one holding up the trial, not the state OR judge.

So there is a problem with both of these defense expert witnesses.

Looks as though that one juror will not be attending her 4th of July vacation as Judge Perry promised.  Judge has to be totally furious at Baez.

Im now on a campaign to make sure the world know that Linda K Baden is nothing but a lying sow who is purposefully trying to taint the reputation of a Chief Justice with no basis.   She has no business representing herself as an officer of the court, Ive had it with her....seriously have had it with her!!!

This is so ingenious to the public. 

She is despicable. She's saying the Judge should have required Rodrigues to testify because he has exculpatory evidence. However, she is ignoring the fact that the defense voluntarily didn't request it since they did not want to jeopardize his job, PLUS they had another witness that could provide the same information. LKB is so damn unethical to bring up these 'mistruths' on public TV.

my hubs said something very important..most people do not see the court proceedings online like we do..they only see what is on InSessions and HLN which always cuts out to commercials at crucial times, has biased talking heads on there who talk over the court proceedings etc...if you don't watch it online, you could get a very different opinion on the evidence and the court testimony...me thinks that he is correct!

Day 28 of the Casey Anthony murder trial ended with no witness testimony.

Judge Belvin Perry announced around 9:45 a.m. that a legal matter separate from the issues discussed earlier in the morning forced him to recess for the day.

On Friday, Baez grilled lead detective Yuri Melich and accused him of not looking into the possibility of other suspects.

As court concluded on Friday, Baez accused Ashton of prosecutorial misconduct and asked for a mistrial.

Baez accused Ashton of calling defense witness Robert Rodriguez's supervisor at the Department of Defense, prompting Rodriguez to be told he would lose his job if he testified. Ashton said Rodriguez's supervisor contacted him, and both sides agreed to let Rodriguez go home.

Earlier Friday, Casey Anthony's mother, Cindy Anthony, testified about Caylee's use of the Anthony family pool. The defense said in opening statements that Caylee drowned in the pool on June 16, 2008.

Anthony, 25, is charged with first-degree murder in Caylee's death. If convicted, she could face the death penalty.
