I really wish I did not have to suffer thru LKB on HLN waiting for Mark Nejame...

And they are going to make us suffer through LKB who is beyond pathetic.

This is just speculation, but to make court stop it has to be big. I am wondering if Cheney Mason wants out and either has info of something unethical baez has done or just flat wants out. He is the death penalty qualified lawyer an w/o him ... the case cannot continue until one is put in place.

Just a thought.

I cannot imagine that Mason wanted this to be his Swan song and the gaffe yesterday of allowing the OC LE to say why Casey was handcuffed as a request of Cindy was a biggy. Big screw up.

The state wasn't in chambers when Bozo et al. were, which is why there's no way this could have anything to do with anything the state did.

Nejame eliminating...not family issue..not witness issue could have taken another issue...not jury cause court reporter left and would have had to stay to address issue with juror...remaining options....trouble with lawyers....or plea deal...since Ashton went to take depositions....one would think problem with Cheney Mason as he is the one who brought issue to front...

Nejames theory this is a legal issue:

Not a witness issue, court reporter would not have left the court for the day. They would have interviewed the witness.

Trouble with lawyers or plea.

Attorneys decline to discuss why court recessed early today

The defense was met by a throng of reporters outside. Defense attorney Cheney Mason expressed anger and shouted at reporters to get out of his way.

Prosecutor Jeff Ashton said he could not discuss what stopped the trial today or whether it was brought about by the defense.

At the beginning of the workday, Casey Anthony and the attorneys left the courtroom for a closed-door meeting with Perry. Casey Anthony appeared to have been crying a bit in the courtroom before the meeting.

Hal just posted at OS that Geraldo said that JB wanted to get in testimony that the Anthony's thought that Lee could be the father of Caylee,... shoot, I'll paste a quote.
“He [Baez] wanted that jury to know that those parents feared Lee Anthony was the father of that child,” Rivera said on “The O’Reilly Factor.” “That’s why they didn’t want him involved in the baby’s birth. That’s where he was going. The judge stopped it.”

Wonder if Jose is sharing with Geraldo, knowing that he has such a big mouth he would be on the airwaves talking about it?

Mr. NeJame is saying he thinks the issue COULD be with Mason!!  He was the one who wanted to talk, Baez was ready to call witnesses.  Now we hear that Mason was overheard yelling at the other defense lawyers and Casey!???    This is going to be interesting if this is in regard to Mason.

And only the DT was behind closed doors from what I gathered, not the state.......that seems odd to me (and the screaming behind closed doors)
