I always thought you could get in trouble by not telling the truth but it seems that in the courts they expect you to lie and there is nothing they can do about it..

Sorry Caylee, the jury took your day away.

Can somebody explain this to me?  What does this case have to do with the wenches case and is there a chance in he double hocky sticks they will prevail and get a new trial?  From what I read, when the judge determined that there was evidence and that the DP would be allowed, is that where they are saying is wrong?

Why, oh, why can't they impeach this stumble bum with his phone records?  Or Ginette Lucas' phone records?  We know they all have lied over and over...I wish we had the bat phones.  They would tell a very interesting story, and it just might be the truth!
I THINK the reason is that the Defense did not confront him on phone records --- The State could/would bring those out in rebuttal.
Thanks, Wreck!  It's definitely wine-thirty now.
   See you all tomorrow!

I actually like the following skit but with this guy it lost a lot..

Abbott: You throw the ball to first base.
 Costello: Then who gets it?
 Abbott: Naturally.
 Costello: Naturally.
 Abbott: Now you've got it.
Costello: I throw the ball to Naturally.
Abbott: You don't! You throw it to Who!
 Costello: Naturally.
Abbott: Well, that's it—say it that way.
 Costello: That's what I said.
 Abbott: You did not.
Costello: I said I throw the ball to Naturally.
Abbott: You don't! You throw it to Who!
 Costello: Naturally.

   Perfect.

Oh my GAWD!  I can't take this anymore.  Isn't George asking the exact same questions as Finnell?  All they have him doing is draw on pics.  Linda!  Please put us out of our misery!

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one annoyed by George. Even his voice drives me crazy.

Yes and there we go. George is done and we gained NOTHING!!!

Agreed. Every time he examines a witness is a waste.
Disagree completely. On cross examination-- they CAN'T confront the witness with phone records etc. What they are doing is merely asking questions that they can confront during the rebuttal.  Don't worry folks -- the Prosecution will wrap up ALL of these thing during rebuttal.

I hate it Finnel is back - she is good at questioning,

and she is starting to establish doubt about what law enforcement failed to do, ie: ask DC where he entered woods-mark a map, etc.  Same tactic she used on the documentary, "Murder on a Sunday Morning".

Dominic's mark of where he was in the woods is definately away from the "remains" and toward the school.

just for the heck of it I was looking up "trowel" in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trowel

and found this; gave me shivers.

'In "The Cask of Amontillado" by Edgar Allen Poe, the narrator, Montresor, uses a trowel and mortar to seal his sworn foe, Fortunato, alive inside a catacomb chamber, deep into the crypts beneath his house. His frantic screams are heard by none but Montresor.'
