Has anyone heard if any recalls were issued for Velveeta or "paper" salami??

I'll bet the government (thanks to Dr. "douche-man" Furton) will now require manufacturers who sell these "chloroform" products to provide consumers with a toxic waste container for proper disposal.

Last night on Dr Drew ( V Politan was in for him)  Lisa Bloom said she has had clients just like Casey-  a high maintenance b**** who everyone on the Defense team is thoroughly sick of....  she is trying to tell everyone what to do and how to do it, and it comes to showdown time. Casey is probably insisting on gettting up on the stand, thinking because her gullible parents believed her BS anyone else should.     
I say let her do it.  I would love to see JAshton get his knives out for her..

Three more things before I sign off for the night:

1)  Why are the Anthonys referred to as the "Rosebuds?"

2)  What is behind the repeated reference to "tubesocks?"  I thought that if I just kept reading this forum, I'd find out.  But I haven't seen any sort of explanation.

3)  My son offered an interesting theory tonight regarding who Caylee's father might be:  not a one night stand but perhaps one of her clients/partners when she was involved in internet porn, as alleged.  I remember seeing speculation here that she may have been involved in that type of business.  So a possible father there, out of a nameless plethora of potential fathers?  (This theory...just some speculation out of the mouth of a babe.)


Aurelia7 -1) I believe it is from Citizen Kane - kind of an obscure reference - if I am wrong someone please correct me!
                2) The tubesocks reference is to Lee - who historically wore tubesock with his shorts and looked very silly doing it!
                3)  That could be - I really think that KC has no idea - I have to believe that if there was money or power to be gained from knowing the dad neither her nor SinSin could resist. But that is just MOO.

I thought tge reason they went late last night was bc of Finnell's schedule. I thought the Defense said she couldn't be there today?

That's what Beth Karas was told by Mason himself...  if I remember correctly, via JVM, last night.

i never heard this competency thing explaines as well as i did this morning...i think what has happened is Casey does want to testify and maybe mumbles didnt want her to so he ordered a competency hearing for her. i bet he doesnt want her to testify but bozo does and she does could be why mumbles is on the outs.

I had a different thought on that.  I think they were hoping she would be found incompetent so that she would have a good excuse for NOT testifying.  They would not need to explain their stupid opening statements then.  I'm probably wrong but that was my initial thought.  I rarely have rational thoughts so I thought I'd run with this one.  JMO

 

LOL i think bozo and casey are arrogant enough to think they can trick the jury with her crying and more accusations towards her father to make a difference, she sure as heck doesnt look incompetent when she is laughing every day

I thought this for a long time, about the money. Then, it suddenly occured to me that CinCin and KC are very controlling. They wouldn't tell the father if it meant he would get visits and/or any type of custody. CinCin especially couldn't handle that!

Tuesday could bring one of the most highly anticipated witnesses to the stand. Roy Kronk was working as an Orange County meter reader when he discovered Calyee's remains along Suburban Drive in December 2008.

Kronk's attorney told WFTV late Monday night that his client was told to be at the courthouse on Tuesday, and ready to testify. Kronk is to report to court at 8:30 a.m. He could be the first witness, after the defense spent a long day Monday, setting up his testimony with two private investigators.

I don't understand this at all? First, court isn't starting until 9...so is he going to proffer him? Also, does Baez really think Kronk is going to say he moved the body? Does Baez think he's actually smart as JA and able to get Kronk to say anything that implicates him in a conspiracy??

Serving on a jury for a murder trial such as that of Hayes, or of Casey Anthony, who is charged with seven counts in the death of her 2-year-old daughter, can be emotionally and physically taxing. And after a trial is over, some jurors report symptoms reminiscent of post-traumatic stress disorder, such as flashbacks and intrusive thoughts.
Whether you're in the courtroom or at home watching TV, repeated exposure to the details of a horrific events can lead to a phenomenon called vicarious traumatization -- you're so connected to a tragedy that you feel emotional trauma as if you'd been directly involved.
"To see the images that they're seeing of this is overwhelming," Nadine Kaslow, a psychologist at Emory University, said of the Anthony trial jurors. "Everyone's going to have a reason to be impacted by this case. Whether or not you have children of your own, there's no way out of being profoundly influenced."
