She smiles because she can stay in her own world 23 hrs a day and she doesn't have to work. She has meals brought to her so she is not cooking as if she ever did. She gets "fan mail" , proposals and money put in her account to buy her snacks, makeup, etc. Yes...she is happy!

Casey is lazy.  that is one constant in her life.  That is why in part, I think, Caylee was found so close to home.
