Considering the questions in cross-examine requires a "yes" or "no" answer ... we will know the answer even if Casey pleads the 5th and ... most importantly so will the jury.

I like seeing the guard behind ICA for what ever reason it is. With her getting so upset at time, the other people at the table are safer, hopefully.  Also, with all of us wondering what ICA does with her hands under the table, whether it is writing, reading, maybe texting, etc., the guard has a clear vision of her movements.  I also noticed that a lot of the 'showing' ICA texts or pictures on cell phones seemed to have stopped or really slowed down, along with her activity under the table too.

If having a guard so close makes her uneasy...too bad.

As for ICA clothes, several news stations have shown clips of a 'loan closet' at  court houses.  Nice clothes were hanging where the lawyers could pick out an outfit just before court each day.  I would assume that ICA attorney's or one of their clerks is picking out the outfit of the day.  That is probably why the clothes are too large for ICA some times.  What ever size, color, style of clothes is on the rack is what ICA gets. 

I hope she turns the clothes back in good shape like she has gotten them.  The clothes shown were name brands, clean, ironed. I hope no holes were chewed in the cuffs, sleeves were not stretched out, and the the waists were not stretched way out....other inmates need to use them too....but I think otherwise!

"I've been doing grief work for several years, and I've seen a lot of grieving individuals, and dishonesty is not one of the things that usually occurs with grief," said Olivia Pitkethly, mental health counselor.

Pitkethly is a practicing mental health counselor in Oviedo.
     
 Her specialty is grief, loss and recovering from severe trauma.

"There is a plethora of emotion that comes along with grief. There is sadness, despair, anger anxiety," Pitkethly said.

Casey's defense says it wants the court to allow a grief counselor to explain Casey's "web of lies" and behavior in the days following her daughter’s disappearance -- even though they admit she knew 2-year-old Caylee was no longer alive.

The defense says Casey somehow learned to lie after being abused by her father, George Anthony.

The jury picture is a fake.  I went to June 2, 2011 and Brandi posted a picture of Judge Perry's court room.  The walls are a different color.  Judge Perry's walls are wood bottoms with a tan/off white top above the chair rail and there is more room for the jurors.   The picture shown is all wood paneling and very cramped quarters.  All fake.

The jury learned that Casey was arrested on July 16, 2008, after she lied to Orange County detectives about working at Universal Orlando Resort while attempting to lead them to her missing 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.

Casey, 25, is on trial for her daughter's murder, but her lawyers said Caylee actually drowned in the family swimming pool.

On Thursday, the defense said it wanted to introduce a new witness, a grief counselor named Dr. Sally Karioth, to explain Casey's behavior after Caylee allegedly drowned.

The potential witness may be the same Dr. Karioth listed as a professor at Florida State University's College of Nursing.

Hi all.  Haven't posted much as I always seem to be so behind and constantly trying to catch up!

Anyway, I just have to say I was SOOO bugged today about something.  Mr. Kronk was describing how he turned the skull by sticking his stick in the right eye-socket and gently turning it.  I cannot get out of my mind the fact that KC didn't have ONE iota of reaction to that phrase.  Just as a human being, just picturing this just made me shudder.  Just sick to see the things she has NO emotional reaction to vs. the things she CHOOSES to have an emotional reaction to.
