ARUBA: It's all about Natalee...we won't give up!

« Reply #920 on: June 28, 2011, 11:42:18 AM »

Been away but wanted to state that the Defense had Cindy on the stand immediately following George's River Cruz testimony and didn't even so much as mention it to her let alone ask her if she knew about this person.

They might as well have admitted there is nothing to that at all.

I've been thinking the same, really thought they'd ask her about it as well.

Wow Kronks finally testifying but somehow Mason is making this pretty boring. I was expecting to be glued to the tv for his testimony. Is it just me?

I think it's mildly amusing that Mason looks kind of dumb and unprepared. Why isn't Bozo questioning him??? He'd come across even more unprepared and egotistical!

Foghorn's never going to get anywhere with Kronk because he's telling the truth.

The way that Mumbles asks questions would make me very defensive... He a rude tone to his voice.   Is this his witness?

Yes, he treats every witness like they're the one on trial!

WOnder if Lee goes back and sits with them.. LOL
He just did
And Cindy didn't even look at him.

they ALL knew what the other was going to say......there were no surprises for them or for the defense....

I agree. All to create doubt and confuse.

yep and to show the dysfunction that IS this family.....

Well, wow. That fits in with what I've always suspected about Lee. Throw rocks, but I always thought that Lee was the least dysfunctional person in a very dysfunctional family. It would also explain why they left him out when KC became pregnant. He was too rational to be totally enthusiastic that his unmarried, living at home, sister was going to have a baby. She didn't even have a named Father for the child. When there's a group decision to pursue dysfunction, being the one in a family that isn't quite as sick, can be a lonely place.

When that family needed real rational thought, there's a pattern of them going to Lee. When Cindy couldn't find KC, she sent Lee to search the bars. When Cindy finally had KC in the car, George called Lee to meet them at the house. During the jailhouse videos, Lee's visit, which was totally about "I'm doing these things to look for Caylee" is rational, while Cindy's and George's visits were littered with "Sweetheart" and pandering.

Lee moved out shortly after Caylee was born. I believe he struggled with fully giving himself over to Caylee, at least for a while, and feels very guilty about that. I believe that at some point, either in life or after she went missing, he, remorsefully made a promise to Caylee that he would be the best Uncle in the world, and that's the promise he referred to during the memorial.

I know, I know, but that's what I believe. Let me also say, that having that spot in a family means that you will also, at times, be dysfunctional.

I really don't understand why people would take a picture of a dead snake

It may be a guy thing.  I have a cousin who routinely shares photos of snakes via email with me whether or not I want him to do so.  He lives on a river in South Alabama apparently in a nest of them and seems to share this fascination these guys had.

But I loved Kronk saying they were "enthralled" with the snake, lol!

I know right? My first laugh of the day.... I thought the same thing, That's such a guy thing!!!

Why is Mason acting all mad?  Did something happen or did he miss his anger management group last night?  I am in and out and may have missed what made him even more annoying then he usually is.

If kronk put the body there and the police wouldn't come check for it thoroughly, then why would he wait another month to "find" the body after trying to have the police come out the fist time. why wouldn't he grab a buddy (witness) and go "discover" it on his own right then rather than wait a month for the reward and fame.

Casey thinks they are doing well.

ITA CURLY

And Mason seems poorly prepared with the facts...he always thinks he can bully and confuse the witness to say what he wants..like Mason calling the OSCO  call a 911 call when it wasn't...Mason is a jackazz.

I think Kronk is doing very well!

He is it is all making sense he didn't know what it was, he did the right thing. Everyone in that area at that time was doing the same thing he was doing everybody wanted to find Caylee. He is coming across as believable not like someone who would keep Caylee's body for months and find it for the reward. He could have done that earlier by going in the woods and poking around. ANd just coming across her body. IMO the sheriff he responded dropped the ball.

Kronk is doing a good job so far, but his hair is a mess, poor thing. You'd think he'd have done something with it with so many people seeing it but then again i'm sure his hair is the last thing on his mind at this point! i believe he's telling the truth!
