Maybe the two psychologists and psychiatrist who evaluated Casey this past weekend should be called to testify.  Maybe testimonies regarding the outcomes of evaluations in regards to competency would be of interest to jury members for consideration in deliberations.

ORLANDO - Judge Belvin Perry explained this morning why Saturday's proceedings in the Casey Anthony trial came to a sudden halt: a defense motion concerning Casey's competency.

Perry suspended the weekend session after the defense filed a motion "to determine competency to proceed." On Saturday, Perry said a "legal matter" had come up after a 45 minute meeting with attorneys from both sides.

Two psychologists and a psychiatrist were ordered by the court to examine Casey over the weekend. Based on their examinations, Judge Perry found that Casey is competent and told defense attorney Jose Baez to call his next witness.
