I think it's interesting that Baez talks about the A's not putting up the house as collateral for Casey's bond.  The house was their only asset, and Casey knew it.  I think it's why it has figured so prominently, (Amy moving in, Casey getting the house.)  Selfish little beyotch.  She's why they are here, after all.
