I can't believe Simm's is allowed to do this. 

I am dumbfounded as to why JP is even allowing someone to testify to this subject during the case in chief..this is mitigation..and it shuldn't even be allowed then if she never spoke with the client..this is all generalities..this is not case specific to Casey ...let's hear what the shrinks that examined her Saturday say about her grieving process..I am astounded this allowed during regular testimony.

I too am astounded......I hope JP is gonna give JA a lot leeway dealing with this nutcase....

The fact that this "expert" would even BEGIN to offer opinion on Simm's question is testament to her unprofessionalism. No expert could render an opinion based on that without "seeing" the emotional response to each of those circumstances. She's a quack.

NO PROFESSIONAL would EVER offer an opinion like that. She is a "self appointed" expert.

As I mentioned, I've lost a child as I'm sure a lot of people on here have. The grief was so deep and my other children are still having reprecutions from the death of their sibling.  I will agree with this lady about the two different coping mechanisms of familys.  Some are healthy with great support, others go off their separate ways and don't talk about it.  But, I don't can't understand anybody going out doing what Casey did.  No way.
