RAmmstein posted this..

Nova this evening:

presenter says (and I quote even though I am not sure where he got his information from but as a rule dutch journalists do not gossip a lot):

The Dutch police have re-started the investigation and have several serious leads that could lead to the killer

Then on the phone Paul van der Sloot says about 20 dutch cops/forensic specialists had searched his house (with some Aruban extra's). It are mostly the dutch who have been searching.

He was asked when he had heard about the search and he responded "when they were standing on my doorstep ready to begin".

Was anything taken the presenter asks:

Paul v/d S: Yes, they took my diary notes and taken the diary entries of my wife Anita and some letters, the computer had also been seized but that has been returned now.

Then it is being mentioned that sonar equipment was used, ground drills, thin metal pipes/rods and they seriously searched for Natalee in his yard (according to a Paul v/d S who could hardly believe that this had happened).

The presenter has said that they heard from the investigative team that they indeed had been looking for Natalee's body or remains of Natalee on the grounds.

Paul van der Sloot has been approached by dutch officers if they could interview him but as he was not arrested he refused to comply with that.

Then reporter says: 8 detectives have been sent to Aruba and 25 employees of the dutch forensic unit

Then the reporter re-iterates that the KLPD has serious leads that could lead to a break through in the case.

it is my personal opinion that joran finally ran his mouth to the wrong person... one that didn't have the tourist agenda to worry about and they went to the proper authorities...

Quote from: "Anna"
Alibi version 1.0 has Joran riding the bus as usual, acing tests, etc.  That was the original plan but when Joran went to school and said the girl (remember he doesn't know her name) hit her head, etc. then it became better for Paulus if he was never even there so that he couldn't possibly have said all that stupid stuff he did.

I think he was late getting there and Paulus took him in his car at least that is what the headmaster originally said.  This was Monday.

By Tuesday, Alibi Version 2.0 known as frame the security guards was in place because Beth had arrived and that changed everything.

So Paulus decides that Joran had better not have even been there Monday but forgets he spoke to headmaster.  By Tuesday, he is telling headmaster that the tape broke is why it doesn't show Joran dropping Natalee off at the HI.

But once something starts like Version 1.0, they are never able to round up everybody and move them on to the next version of events and some continue to tell the first version.  Can't go back and tell them to change it.  All Paulus can do is change his own version and hope the others catch on well enough to play along.

This is just what I think and I realize others don't share this scenario of that first day and I don't think we all need to walk in lock step on this.  It is far better to keep open all options and possibilities.

SAN, stick to your guns on his not being there at all for you may well be right.  We need to cover all options!   Wink  And it is harder to find proof of something unless you are looking for it.

Thanks Anna.

The panel is pointing out the facts and Geragross and Taco act like nobody's testimony (scratches in school that morning on Joran) never happened, He aced his test!, like that means he didn't kill her.  They really act like they were there and know exactly what happened.  They are ignoring every fact that HAS been brought out in the case.

Just remember the two sleaziest lawyers on TV now that Johnny Cochran is dead are Joe Tacky and Mark G.   Look at Mark's clientele and now Taco's Sporter Boy.  Maybe Tacky likes 'em big and brutal.

It has pics of that container you mentioned..

I didn't see any of it.  Just a regular storage bin, they are carrying it along a sidewalk, two people.

Right Mrs. Red.  I think that Joran is so sick and so full of himself that he thinks he will never be caught up with.  He thinks he can do and say what he wants and he will not be brought to justice.  In his mind no matter what he has done he won't have to pay for it!

Posted on the front page by Jay (in the Netherlands I think) - translation of an article:

This is from an article that appeared in the Bon Dia Aruba newspaper today. (translation)
Dutch police went to the court house where P van der Sloot was working to talk to him, he told them he had nothing to say to them and walked away.
When the police got to P van der Sloot’s house they noticed that no one was home. Eventhough the judge of instruction was present, the police decided to go to the courthouse where to P van der Sloot was working. The reporter who wrote this story was in the courtroom when the Dutch police approached to P van der Sloot. P van der Sloot was adamant that he had nothing to say to the police officer and tried to leave the courthouse, the police officer however tried to block the exit with his body insisting he speak to P van der Sloot. The police officer told P van de Sloot they were there under instruction of a judge and asked p van de Sloot to accompany him. P van der Sloot again said, in a firmer tone of voice that he had nothing to say to him and wasn’t going to accompany him either. P van der Sloot eventually entered another office building and called his lawyer who met him at the house. People around the courtroom were saying that the police officer was very rude to P van der Sloot, talking to him like he was a suspect.

Without going over myself.  Has anybody been reading over at RU?  Curious to see what they are saying, if anybody has dared....

Same old stuff, mostly making fun of us.

One thing I learned early on and my lawyer brother had to keep pointing it out to me, that when they have nothing to defend, they attack others on a personal basis and those who are in charge know what goes on at RU and there are those who are watching RU closely who have taken names and can when the time is right,  kick butt.  Their idle threats against the the victim's friends and family speaks volumes about their level of intelligence and perhaps level of involvement in covering a crime.

I thought it had been said Joran laid down in the aisle and slept because he was tired....

Muffy I believe this happened on the second day.  JMO

We know for a fact that Satish did not go to school.  He just witnessed a murder by a psychopath.  I will also say that Deepak never went to work even though he claims he did.

Paulus never went to work because he was with Joran.  He needed to clean the mess in his house and also meet with certain people.  If meeting with certain people in Aruba to help you cover a murder that happened at your home is considered work then I can say Paulus was working hard that day.

Gee, imagine that!  Wonder if they put him under arrest to interrogate him.  Hmmm, he was worried enough to call his attorney.  Innocent people DON'T hide anything!

Did you get the impression that Dr. Baden was the only rational one of the group and that Tacky did not want him to talk?  Tacky cut him off so fast that his head spun!

Yes AZLady.  Same thing with Mark Fuhrman.  He went after the two who know the most about this case.

Yes, I thought Joe T was going to start screaming at Dr Baden and I also think Geraldo ran him up against a hard commercial break so that whatever he was saying would be cut off.  We all know what Geraldo really thinks about Joran no matter how objective he is trying to be to host a program.

Also, Dr Baden said ALE knew what to do to conduct a search because they had already done it to the security guard.  He further stated Joran was running around the next day with scratches on his face. etc.  Made ALE look like the corrupt LE that they are.

He made every word count.  Baden did not used to take sides like this but in this case, I think he is happy to make an exception.

.

Anna, Dr. Baden was good.  I think Joe T. got nervous when he mentioned that they searched the two security guards from head to toe and even their car.  Joe T. knows darn well they did not do that to his client and then when Baden brought up those scratch marks he jumped at him.

Joe T. said something that I didn't know and that we Joran was in school at 8:10 the next morning.  I never knew the time he started class.  So we have Joe T. saying yes he went to school and the father saying no he did not go to school.  Isn't that just great.

He also repeated that old tale by Julia Renfro that the honors student took an exam and aced it while we have his own peers saying there were no exams that day but an English AP on which Joran scored a 1/5.
