Hi Monkeys. We just got back in from a work-related 1950s party (I wore a pink poodle skirt - tee hee). It's almost midnight here, and hubby won't let me stay up long enough to read all the pages I need to get caught up on. He's easing toward his toothbrush already.

Could someone please give me brief highlights of any developments this evening?

Thanks!

Tell him it's the weekend and to go play his guitar for a while..he needs practice. LOL Laughing

I don't think that will work this time. He's already in the bed.

Oh wait! Monty Python is coming on TV. Maybe I have a 30 minute reprieve.  Very Happy
My laughing smilies went into the top of BT's post LOL, ooops

B.T. Girl:

You're never going to believe this:

1)  The search was done under a two-day search warrant.  We don't know
if the search has been completed.

2)  The family were notified that the search was going to take place ahead
of time... I think Thursday.  Other than that it has been very tight lipped.

3)  The F.B.I. is working with the Dutch Investigators

4)  And the Biggest Surprise:

TES IS GOING TO BE LEAVING IN ARUBA IN A COUPLE DAYS

THE INFORMATION WAS PROVIDED BY RED WITH DETAILS TO

FOLLOW

5)  We have started a 24 hour prayer vigil (is that the right word)

and

6)  We are all HAPPY!!!!!!!!!![/b

Now Guess What:  You're not going to be able to sleep...   Wink

MsMarple, wasn't the name of the newspaper in Argentina "The Diario"?  I remember it was the same as the Aruban newspaper, but no relation to it.

I think you're right about Diario, but of course it's Venezuela, not Argentina.

I think Diario might be a syndicate or franchise type of thing ... Jossy has it for Aruba, etc.

Did anybody ever determine if the search of the VDS residence is completely over or just over for the night?

MsMarple, I have a friend that is a Doctor of Exercise Physiology and I have a picture of the arm bones, I will ask him what he thinks. He is a Doctor / Professor at a major University and he'll know right away what it is. I think it is either a human arm or the arm of something like a Gibbon.

Do that. I remember the picture and the knuckles looked very strange.

There are a lot of players on Aruba that know what happened to Natalee. Some were directly involved, some weren't but they all know the dirty little secret of how and why she disappeared.
That has to make the VanDerSloots a little uncomfortable knowing that their exposure rests in the hands of unstable and unpredictable adolescence.

Doesn't El Diario mean "The Daily"?  or something like that?  We have many newspapers in various cities with similar or the same names.  How many newspapers have you seen called "The Daily News"?  I think it's something like that.

I remember that too.  And it seemed the fingers were particularly long.  However, it was noted that our human fingers are much longer than they appear on your hand when it is whole.  You can even feel between your knuckles and realize how long fingers would appear without all of the skin, ligaments and etc.
